| I loved the first volume of this novel, but I dropped it after reading the first chapter of this volume. Why does the MC want to save people who were planning on killing an entire village? He knows one of them for like 2 hours and that's enough of a reason to save a bunch of bandits. This really pissed me of. |

| The feedback for this volume doesn't seem to be good but I really loved and enjoyed volume 2. I think it does an excellent job of expanding it's world depth and Introducing really well written characters from William's naive and oblivious perspective. And the chimera subjugation really hit hard. |

And it's not like the attackers are bandits or scumbags, cuz the setting realistically explains that they were forced into going against their neighbors because of the demons in the area far stronger than them. |
