| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Welp, this episode took place beyond the training outside the diving pools. I thought it was almost funny to see the guys diving right from a cliff into the ocean. They even did some mini fireworks at the beach. I think it's a calm before the storm for the final few episodes before the main competition takes place. |

| Relaxing ep. before ending in 3 eps.? Nakamura-san's character thinking about his grandfather again after returning, and seeing the two guys visiting him. He told his sisters it's more funny to ask Sakurai-san's character about the love because he's the only one with no experience (the expression). The three are like they are friends (very close) when talking about the two's practice in China. Interesting... there's a tradition to dive into the cliff when growing up. The two are the only two who jumped in besides Nakamura-san's character. The coach's grandfather admired Nakamura-san's character's grandfather, and did the similar thing as what she did. Experiencing the same thing including the same injury. Swan dive?! Another guy and Sakura-san's character officially decided for participating Olympics so soon. Not including main guy? | Youichi and Tomoki visited Shibuki's hometown. Youichi got embarrassed as he is the only one who has no relationship experience. I was surprised that Tomoki can casually talk about the fact that his brother stole his girlfriend. Tomoki was not chosen to be a representative and they are only sending 2? Potential drama incoming. |

| Probably my favourite episode so far. Liked the off-period from training here, the three protagonists did stuff together (diving from the 20 m platform, fireworks, having fun together all around). Yoichi's little side story with the girlfriend and his awkwardness about it was pretty funny. I liked the swan dive part, it really looks magnificent in the air. I get that they want to protect Okitsu from suffering the same fate like his grandfather. |

| In the beginning it felt like they skipped an episode or something. It was nice seeing the three guy hang out and have fun, Yoichi is too innocent in terms of romance. xD I liked Okitsu's girlfriend, hope she's a recurring character. The Swan Dive looked great, hope Okitsu can do it as well. |

| Finding it hard to justify how in the world Okitsu's girl doesn't have more suitors... she's pretty hot. Must be everyone's just afraid of him, and that cliff lol. A relatively chill episode, what with them just visiting Okitsu's hometown and meeting his family and all that. I still don't know how this is suppose to end though. I'm willing to bet that Tomo manages to convince others that he can participate in the Olympics somehow and will get his chance in the spotlight, but with just 3 more episodes left, I don't know how it'll go down.. |

| I enjoyed that episode so much. It was different from the previous episodes. This one's definitely my fave so far. Youichi, Tomo, and Shibuki as a trio? That's so cuuuuute. Hehehe. Nice to meet Shibuki's girlfriend, he's lucky to have her, or her girlfriend is fortunate to have him. Idk. They're both lucky to have each other even though we didn't have enough time to get to know what kind of relationship they have, but I still find it sweet when Shibuki said his plans to her (marrying her and such). Holy shit! Youichi never had a girlfriend and he's so frustrated by it. Hahaha! He still haven't found the right one yet. C'mon. Hahaha. Kinda hoping that he'll end up with one of Shibuki sisters. Hehe. Shibuki's grandfather story, though. That was so sad. I guess diving in the ocean will really cause a back problem? Am I wrong here? His grandfather's Swan Dive is really beautiful, though. :) Loved this episode so much. <3 |

| We've seen some obvious sensitive weakness of Youichi it is the word "Girlfriend" in which he don't have! Damn! Shibuki's girlfriend is hot,pretty and gorgeously slim! Shibuki's gonna perfect the Swan Dive that was originally an original style of his gramps! 4/5. |

This episode gave the series the shot of character development that it needed. Hoping it continues to build from here. The sisters were really cute in how they were fawning over Youichi. |
| Best episode so far. The animation is as always great, we got some nice relaxation, which I think, we definitely needed. Showing Okitsu's girlfriend was pretty cool too. |
