| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Certainly better than the previous ones. Still crappy animation, art, depth, but some interesting moments and twists. I decided to watch the 3 Generation of Chaos entries due to it being done by the notorious Idea Factory, creator of the Jewels of Atrocity such as Mars of Destruction and the even more abominable Skelter Heaven. Sadly the series didn't live up to the enjoyable angle of the "It's so bad it's good" aspect that MOD and SH excelled at. The first 2 unrelated Generation of Chaos series were just stagnant and garbage without charm. This thing is by far the "best" of the bunch, and i give it a 5/10 as opposed to dual 3/10 for the others. Two full episodes and a semblance of a plot and direction - albeit crushed by the obvious cliffhanger and dead end that it would inevitably reach- made this the indisputable best entry in the series. That obviously doesn't mean much though relative to proper anime... |
