| The catfishing is only to establish the reason why the protagonist can't trust girls online. This becomes the excuse for why the protagonist won't trust a real girl who asks him out. Something to that extent. It'll just be a way for the guy to build up a harem I'm sure and I doubt it will tackle the issue of catfishing seriously for more than 30 seconds. |
