| @YayPepsi: Thank you for starting this thread, as well as for providing that link to the news item on the official webpage. I have been following the official twitter account, and they never mentioned it, as far as I can see. This sounds like a global-scale version of that marathon showing in Shinjuku back on Sunday, February 8th where they screened Episodes 1 to 6 all at once, along with a "talk event" with the three main voice actresses and Ikuhara. In addition, there was extra publicity through anime trade papers such as Animate.TV and DMM News. Sadly, the effect on the Amazon Stalker points has been negligible. At this particular moment, it is at exactly 900 points for the Volume 1 Blu-ray, which is abysmal. In addition to what YayPepsi mentioned above, there will also be an appearance by Bonjour Suzuki, who sang the OP theme. Her debut music CD goes on sale on February 25th. It includes the OP theme, including a no-voice karaoke version. There is also the song "I met a bear" with and without voice. | @Lancehot: Please don't get your hopes up. After the "talk event" on Sunday, February 8th, two detailed articles came out which reported what was said by the three main voice actresses and Ikuhara. Here are the articles, in Japanese: http://www.animate.tv/news/details.php?id=1424072122 http://anime.webnt.jp/report/view/3989 Remarkably, none of them said anything interesting or significant at all. I don't think that they said anything about the story content, let alone any comment about what it means. The three girls just said cute things. I don't expect anything in Episode 8.5 except for an extremely literal retelling of the stuff that all of us here already know from memory. |
