They already know that all digimons are reborn after they are destroyed, and even if that wasn't true, evil digimons should be defeated. Digimon that died in real world won`t reborn. Even though it is still puzzling me. They are all kind of delusional about bad Digimons. I can understand Cody cause he is kid, but Yolei... On the other hand, in season 1 they killed a lot of Digimon without crying like a little bitches. Oh gosh. This Daemon dude shows up out of nowhere. It'd be nice to know who the heck he is and why he wants Ken and the dark spore so badly. Instead of properly introducing villains like him, they spend a lot of time for useless episodes i.e. Chinatown, some ninja bullshit, digi-restaurant, some part of World tour. Too bad, Daemon looks pretty creepy. |

Dead digimon in the digiworld will respawn as digieggs, i guess most of the time. There could be exceptions, but i don't recall any (at least in 02). Deaths in real world are almost always forever. That's why (recall Wizardmon) when they die, they cannot rejoin their data together in the form of a digiegg. That's why Wizardmon couldn't reborn as a digiegg, but was instead trapped in a phantom-like form. Also in the Wallace movie (which could or could not be canon, and happens after ep.21 and before ep.22) his dead digimon regenerated into an egg again. The regeneration process could be (as many other digimon events, for example digivolution) associated with the type of data that is in their surroundings. Real world has less data in their surroundings and could be the reason why they won't rejoin together. Digiworld is pure data so a digimon dying there could rejoin pieces of data into an egg (Angemon died and rejoin into an egg). Although this last part is mostly especulation, i hope this is better explained in the future. tl;dr i don't know, there are some generalities but some exceptions. |

It's called bullshit, but it could be that digimon that have a human partner can regenerate because their data is connected to the digivice while wild digimon don't have that funnel so it's harder for their data to rejoin and not get lost in the constant streams of data in the Real World. |
| An overall good episode with several good fights, but the whole "oh no we shouldn't kill the bad Digimon" seems moot when these Digimons could kill more humans themselves |
