| Silly anime, turtles can't fly... but dafuq is this development!? Giant robot turtles... really why? I thought this would be a proper romance anime but no they went totally the wrong path and ruin it for everyone... Oh well the dresses Motoko-chan wore were quite lovely though but that's the only thing I have to say that was good about this episode. |

| An episode dedicated to Motoko is pure win. She really reminds me at Kyuubei. You also gotta love the randomness. |

| First half of this anime is over. It's repetitve especially with Keitaro being punched by everyone. The supernatural thing is probably my least favourite part of Love Hina. 5/10 for Spring 2000. |

| remembered an episode with Motoko revealing herself to be afraid of turtles, and this also confirms itself as one of my favorites along with the previous one, with just one exception. Of all those times that Narusegawa attacked Keitaro jumping to conclusions for no justified reasons, the switching clothes one has been the most obnoxious and mean spirited. Despite this detail and the mechas absurdity, some nice character development for Motoko has been delivered and can't complain, she has her problems too but never brought myself to dislike her. Agree that most costumes she tried were poorly matched for her, but she went out with the best one as multiple people noticed. "Do you also know karate, lady?" no, but she would be even cooler if she did. |
