What is Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds?

Ni no Kuni is a series of role-playing games first released in 2010 for the Nintendo DS. Due to its popularity, multiple sequels and spin-offs have been released on almost every console, mobile, and PC in the past few years.
In 2022, Ni no Kuni: Cross world will be released globally.

The Story

The players take on the role of a beta tester for a fictional game called Soul Diver. As they dive into a new endangered fantasy world and learn about it, they will eventually realize they are not in a game but in a very real world. The way the narrative is told, along with the many features of the game supporting it, is what makes it stand out from other similar stories.

Visuals and Music

Aiming for astonishing visuals, the game was made in Unreal Engine 4, which makes exploring the expansive world of Ni no Kuni a very pleasant experience even on mobile devices. Along with amazing visuals, the game also features a wonderful BGM, including music composed by Joe Hisaishi, which maximizes Ni no Kuni’s immersive experience. Anime fans, especially Ghibli fans, might recognize the name from My Neighbor Totoro, Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away, and many other Ghibli masterpieces.

Classes

Players can select one of five classes: Engineer, Destroyer, Swordsman, Witch, and Rogue—each class with a unique set of skills and abilities that provides a different gameplay experience. Costumes are also part of Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds. How you want your character to look will be entirely up to you.

Features

Like other mobile RPGs, the game features elements such as leveling up, a party system, an in-depth social system, and side quests that will keep players engaged.
Battling can be done alone or with friends. There is also a Player vs Player system for those who enjoy a more competitive environment. On the other hand, for those who prefer more relaxing activities, taking care of your own personal farm, building up and decorating your own Kingdom or playing mini-games are other ways to enjoy the game. As a returning feature and a signature of the Ni no Kuni series, players will also be able to collect cute Familiars that can be tamed to fight alongside you.
