Hello friends! After a short break we are back with your weekly dose of awesome figures - Five Figure Fridays! We are ending our hiatus with a little figure line named Nendoroid. The Nendoroid line was created by the Good Smile Company in 2006 and the line features popular characters from anime, manga or video games. The line is recognizable for its chibi renditions of popular characters which are designed with a large head and a smaller body. The characteristic design gives the figures a super cute look that has just clicked with the fans. Add to that a wealth of different parts and expressions and you can see why this line is such a hit with the collectors. The Nendoroid line spawned some awesome merchandise which we are going to show you today.
Let’s be honest, it was only a matter of time before the The Legend of Zelda’s Link got his own Nendoroid figure. That is just a match made in heaven. This particular Nendoroid Link is based on The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D video game released for Nintendo 3DS. Nendoroid figures are known for their well-chosen accessories but this figure takes it to the next level! Link comes with the classic items from the game like the Kokiri Sword, the Hero’s Shield, the Red Potion and the Bunny hood. But that’s not all! The Deku, Goron and Zora masks are also included along with the Link’s fairy companion Tatl! Last but not least, we have the Majora’s mask that can be worn by Link. A stand is also included in the package. This painted ABS&PVC non-scale articulated Link figure was released in April 2016. The 10 cm (3.9 inches) tall figure was sculpted by toytec D.T.C in cooperation with Nendoron. All this can be yours for only about 4,342 yen (~42 US dollars).

Shichibee worked with Nendoron to bring the Hinata figure to life, and if we may say so he did an excellent job. The “Shrimp” comes with a variety of additional goodies such as a volleyball and net so you can display him just as he is about to smash the ball. If that did not get your attention, he also comes with three facial expressions: a confident one, a cheerful smile, and a super excited expression. The volleyball court inspired stand also makes this figure really unique. This amazing figure can play for your collection for just about 9,614 yen (~93 US dollars).
