That's kinda the appeal of the gacha game. They are mostly aimed at busy people who just want some little break from life with a game.

I seriously gotta watch Summertime Render, since I love Re Zero and Higurashi, probably gonna be the first anime I try to catch up to when I'll have time. Tarumono looks interesting, I know there was time when I used to listen to LIP x LIP songs, but mainly to mafumafu covers. Ao Ashi looks also promising, I don't think I saw a good football anime so far, and I like to try out various sports anime, just to get to know more sports and see them animated. Shakunetsu Kabaddi was such an anime, never heard of that sport before so it was something new for me and I actually enjoyed the anime lot more than I initially thought.

A mix of computer science and informatics. And thanks for good wishes. At least one subject is going well so far, hopefully I can manage to do well in one more subject. Then I will be left with last two, unfortunately, I got such a horrendous exams schedule, I have like one day to study for one of those harder subjects. I really just want to avoid repeating a subject.

Genshin is mostly time consuming in the beginning, if you catch up with most of the stuff, it's basically a 15 minutes playtime per day. But I get that you wouldn't want to get into it.

Recently anime called Paripi Koumei caught my attention, but it seems to be quite well rated on MAL. I welcome any recommendations, even if I probably won't have much time for a moth or two. Depending on how much will I fuck up my university studies, which are not going as well as I would like them to go.

Sorry for late reply, I'm just really busy lately.

I'm happy to hear the playerbase of Azur Lane is treated well. Genshin is a bit complicated, they are making astonishing amount of money and they don't even have competitors because of the opne-world system. And the game is fairly new, so there are some tactics that can be seen as quite stingy. But overall, for the free game, they offer really much, Exploration is just incredibly fun and for almost a whole year they have been steadily adding new areas to explore with different mechanisms and new world-building lore. The latest one is basically a huge cave exploration and it's probably the most fun one of the all. Moreover, the soundtrack, it's probably one of the best I have ever heard. And they didn't disappoint so far, I see only improvement. My biggest issues with the game are just very bland protagonists and that the gacha characters have very little screentime. I have characters I love, but in comparison to like honkai, I don't feel such a big emotional attachment, which is quite important for me.

And praying for good adaptation.

Claymore remake would be really cool, since the anime changed a few things and there was a lot more continuation in the manga, but the old one will always have a sweet spot in my heart.

Yeah, this season is really stacked. I just wish I had more time for all of them. Hopefully my semester ends well and I can quickly catch up to everything.

It's definitely addicting. But I do welcome it, because there are days when I feeĺ like shit and I can use these gachas as an excuse to take a break.

Yeah, I also like the anime adaptations even if they are often inferior to the actual game.

I finished reading Claymore in autumn, it was a nice read, so if you feel like finishing it I think its worth it.

Yeah, I don't like dropping, but recently I am a bit more open to dropping. Some anime are truly just waste of time when I don't have much of it. I might go back to check Akebi-chan, maybe in summer, I did go up to episode 8 so I am not that far away from the end, just really didn't have time for it and I prefered catching up with more interesting anime.

Hope your studies go well!

Also Black Rock Shooter seems to be going for a new direction, so it isn't very tied to the previous instalments. Though I found the older one to be a lot better than what there was so far. But if you wanna check it out I think it's safe. And now I really wanna watch Kaguya-sama, I'm really curious about how are they adapting this season, since if I remember correctly this season should have some of the best arcs.

And yeah, gacha is the new life lol Tho I did play them before like Magia Record and FGO, unfortunately, I usually quit after like 2 weeks. Genshin is so far the only one that managed to grab me for this long, logging in every day is now just a part of my routine. The open-world did a lot for me. But now I could possibly handle other gacha games, that's why I also started with Honkai. I wanted to play it for a very long time since the story seems to be like a very my thing, but I just couldn't be hooked for a long time. Now I'm finally progressing. There are many gacha games I would like to try like even Arknights and Girls Frontline, since the story seems interesting, but that would take too much time.

I am currently very behind with most of the manga I read, just slowly catching up with some when I feel like reading them. Currently the one I am enjoying the most is definitely Oshi no Ko, I really hope it gets an anime adaptation one day (and a good one). It's written by Kaguya-sama author, drawn by Kuzu no Honkai author and revolves around a more psychological and dark aspect of acting. Mix of some of my favourites things lol

And it definitely is better to tone it down a bit from time to time. I usually try to watch any anime I started till the end, whether I like them or not, but from the previous season I had to drop Akebi-chan, despite being fan of CGDCT genre and great animation, and also Baraou no Souretsu because its just so badly done. I did start reading the manga tho since I found the premise to be very interesting, but didn't finish it yet. So simply it's better to take a break from such anime, games or whatever.

Hi, long time no see.

My life is more or less fine, just quite busy with university because of projects and exams.

I did start watching quite a few anime, tho from most of them I already read the manga, like Aharen-san, Shikimori-san, Tomodachi Game, then there is Komi-san Season 2, Black Rock Shooter the new. I also want to watch Kaguya-sama, Summertime Render and Spy x Family, but didn't have time for it yet.

In summer I started playing Genshin Impact, so that kinda takes the priority over anime now and recently also got into Honkai Impact 3rd, which I'm loving so far, so anime watching is getting neglected. But like I said, I read the manga for like 80% of the stuff I listed here, so it isn't a big deal in terms of spoilers.

What about you?

Surprisingly, I am keeping up with all these winter anime. Maybe it means I am neglecting other things? Perhaps lol. Anyway, good luck with catching up!

Actually, non-sequels make up half of my currently watching list lol Didn't expect that. We have clearly many promising anime this season, whether new or sequels. People who are focusing solely on sequels are missing out a lot.

Yea, I have only a few days left for this exam. Kinda getting nervous. The government over here is also making many dumb decision, people are seriously questioning whether these people are normal. It's all politics in the end. I just want this to be all over.

Kahirama | Jan 12, 2021 1:30 PM
Thank you very much! I hope this year will be a better one.

It's a kind of psychological effect that more short seasons seem less tiresome (or how to say it) than one very long season. Unfortunately, lack of time is here and that prevents us from watching and doing many things. It would be great to be rich and not have these worries. But to get rich, you must sacrifice a lot of time. That's the cycle of life...

And yes, Majo no Tabitabi was quite a mixture of aspects. They did it quite well, in my opinion. It definitely deserves a good rating.

The winter season is here and I'm already watching a lot of new shows. And there are still some to come. I don't believe I can keep up with them all. Fortunately, my country decided to cancel the external examinations which were supposed to be in March, so I won some time. But it's still a lot.

In February I'll be taking some exams which should help me to get into the university of my choice, but if they decide to make us take entrance exams, then I'm just wasting my money to test myself. But thank you and I also wish you a lot of luck!
