Hey there, just checking in! Did you see my last text?

Shamblecorpse | Jul 1, 2024 9:54 AM
These rom-coms are the best! Although, I also enjoyed Domestic Girlfriend.

Yes, you're right. You should definitely visit India once in your lifetime. You won't regret it.

I also enjoyed Goblin Slayer, but I wouldn't call you weak for not liking it. Not everyone can handle that kind of stress, and that's totally fine.

The older ones do have good stories, but I also prefer newer ones, like those from between 2018 and 2024.

I will definitely check out the source material. Why do you recommend it?

And here we go again. No..... Miho Ichiki is the best girl and I'm ready to fight for it. (Jk)

And one last question what do you prefer b**bs or ass? (Pls don't say personality)

Buddy, I get you. Comedy is one way to deal with problems in real life. But usually, there is a lot of drama in romance anime too. So, I think comedy is best suited for you.

I think hentai is the bridge to finding the cultured ones. I'm lucky to have found you, but beware of those who troll you for liking it. I know you must have gone through that, but as a friend, I'm here to support you.

If you ask me about the drama: I'm from India, and the food I eat is spicy, containing different flavors that are mouth-watering even if you just smell it, and the key ingredient is salt. So for me, anime should contain everything, including drama. But the key ingredient depends on the anime.

Whoa, I guess you went all out (which I appreciate). But the anime is a bit old school. Do you have any modern ones? And do you also have favorites in Japanese p*rn?

Hello Maki. I just read your bio, and I really like how honest you are about your hentai collection (I'm not joking). I see that you like comedy and romance genres a lot. However, I want to ask if there is a particular reason you don't like drama. Lastly, can you name your top 5 hentai, if that's okay with you?

my bad🗿😁, didn't remember it as well

I was familiar with Uchida Maaya's roles even before starting Kuro, but it was her acting as Shizuna which made her one of my favorite VAs ever. Well, you'll hear her soon enough, so we won't have to wait long before you can share your thoughts on the matter. I've been playing turn based RPGs since I was a kid, but ironically I don't play the games I used to anymore at all and mainly focus on Asian-made stuff... Western gaming industry lost me at some point. I think Persona 3 Reload was fine all things considered, but I agree that its story is weaker than in other two Persona games. Tartarus with its 250+ semi-identical floors wasn't to my liking too. Liked Mitsuru the most, by the way, and in Persona 4 Rise (Naoto was close second).
Yeah, Kaoru seems like someone you can be very open around.

Judging by what you said you want, Majikoi would be the best, a fairly long slice of life/comedy VN with many different routes and various girls. It is available on Steam, however, it looks like not only it's censored, it also lacks some voices in this version. Moreover, it doesn't look like the second game can be found on Steam either.

Grisaia no Kajitsu. Better than Majikoi in most aspects, but more serious in nature (don't know if it's a plus or a downside to you). It is on Steam, but I don't know what's its situation with censorship.

Muv-Luv. The first part of the first game is a classical galge, so maybe you'll end up liking it, although its artwork may appear somewhat old. Its continuation (the second half of the first game and the second game have a completely different genre and themes, but arguably one of the best VN stories ever told). You'll need to acquire a patch to restore H-scenes.

Utawarerumono trilogy. It has a similar level of worldbuilding as Kiseki, so if you want a good story with immersive setting, you can try this one. It doesn't have any routes and romantic stuff isn't as direct, but the girls are interested in MC and sweet scenes between them are present. First game, second game, third game. The second and the third games don't have any content cut (H-scenes didn't exist even in the original version), but the first one is a remake and as far as I know they deleted all sex scenes.

If you want a "real" harem feeling where the guy has sex with many different girls without going through the route of a respective girl, there is Rance series. It has great humor, great artwork and even diverse gameplay (it is different in each game). I think you can buy them on JAST and MangaGamer. The MC is an unapologetic rapist, so if you don't like this sort of thing, you probably won't enjoy it.

G-senjou no Maou. It's a mystery novel with several routes, but most are short compared to the main one. Not exactly a harem and kind of heavy emotionally, but a good read nonetheless. I think it was this VN that solidified my interest in VNs in general. Steam page. You need to buy voices separately and most likely will need to find a restoration patch.

Dohna Dohna. This is a pimp simulator with lots of amazing artwork and scenes. JAST page.

I can also recommend some without the harem/galge element. Higurashi and Umineko for great thrillers, they don't have anything that can be censored, however, you won't find the best version legally available on PC. Dies irae is pretty much Fate/stay night but with different themes and characters. AI: The Somnium Files, Zero Escape trilogy and Danganronpa are decent "family friendly" visual novels, there is nothing to to censor in them and they are available on Steam. Same with Doki Doki Literature Club!, but it's also free to play and not Japanese made. Saya no Uta is a short one and messed up in some of its visual/moral parts, but a cool, romantic story nonetheless. Will need a patch for the Steam version. Subarashiki Hibi, crazy stuff. Will need a patch for the Steam version.

To be honest, I think the best option would be to simply download the stuff you're interested in from torrents and then, if you enjoyed it and a principled person, support the developers buy purchasing their game on any of the platforms where their game is available. Ironically, pirate versions are "better" because they usually have everything you need and don't require of you to search for patches elsewhere. But if torrenting is dangerous in your country or you want to avoid using them for some other reason then you'll need to do some research after buying some of these games.

Anyway, hope this helps! And don't worry about being late to reply, I do it all the time too for various reasons, ha-ha...

I suppose you're right. Considering Falcom's Kiseki is the best thing ever, that complaint is pretty much irrelevant in the grand scheme of things.

Rixia looks good in her casual look/swimsuit too, but yeah, her default outfit is gorgeous. I think Uchida Maaya (Shizuna's VA) fits that description too, but I see, you're also a Persona fan... Looks like most my friends are. The first game of the series I played was Persona 5 Royal last summer, then Persona 4 Golden in the autumn and Persona 3 Reload not too long ago. It was actually one of my friends who made me play P5R in the first place - it's not available to purchase in the country I'm in and it's not cracked, so he graciously offered me his account to experience his favorite series. Among the girls I ended up liking Hifumi the most btw, too bad she wasn't playable. As for Amagami SS, I like Ai and Tsukasa more :P

By harem, do you mean the availability of different routes, i.e. like what Amagami SS has? Because that's how it goes most of the times in VNs, harem stories/routes are rare. Steam is a bad place to buy Japanese visual novels, I think, this platform is very censoship-happy when it comes to JP VNs. For example, I bought Muv-Luv VNs on Steam but still had to go to torrents to get a patch to restore removed content, so might as well go there in the first place. Well anyway, before I give you a more detailed answer, what's your experience with Visual Novels in general?

Shizuna | May 10, 2024 12:57 PM
It helps, but I sort of cheated anyway by implementing those three free slots. Without them I'd have to cut Altina, Giliath and Agnes from the list.
I think the coolest thing about Rean is experiencing how he grows from CSI and up to Hajimari. Throughout these five games so much happened to him. Renne is actually similar to him in that regard, even though she wasn't a protagonist in the player's hands. As for CS, my only complaint is that Rean's classmates ended up having much less personal involvement in the story compared to characters from any other arc.
Yeah, Olivier is a free spirit, but a very competent and charismatic guy. Erebonia is missing out not having him as an emperor.
What I find amazing about Rixia's appearance is that even though she has possibly the biggest breasts in the whole series, that's not the only thing which steals the viewer's attention. Pretty much everything about her is beautiful no matter where you look. Which other Satou Rina's roles you also like, by the way?
Oh, I see... I think Nadia was very fun and cute. Also very wise, he-he.
You remember when in CSIV during Mishelam Claire and Rean met in the marshlands? I thought it was the perfect moment for their optional romance to bloom, but unfortunately nothing of sort happened. Although some time after my playthrough someone drawn this picture so I obviously wasn't the only one thinking that.
But then again, there's so many characters in the series it might be difficult for Falcom to give every one a perfect involvement in the events.

Elie is indeed fantastic. That's why I feel bad for not including in my Favorite Kiseki characters list. To avoid making my list too long and meaningless I added some rules to it, namely: each game played adds one slot and I can add one favorite character among those involved in the story. On top of it I added three "free" slots: absolute favorite, best girl and best guy. And it ended up like this:
Absolute favorite: Shizuna (obviously)
Best girl: Laura (my previous Kiseki favorite AND my favorite character of all time since sep 2017 up to sep 2022)
Best guy: Rean
Sky FC: Olivier
Sky SC: Renne
Sky 3rd: Kevin
Zero: Tio
Ao: Rixia
CSI: Sara
CSII: Vita
CSIII: Altina
CSIV: Osborne
Hajimari: Lloyd
Kuro I: Van
Kuro II: Agnes
So even though I like Elie a lot, I couldn't find a way to add her without breaking my own rules. The same situation is with Nadia.

Sharon is great too. Kinda underappreciated, even more so than Claire (wanted her to be romancable in CS btw, in CSIV there was a good place for that story-wise). What's your opinion on Claire, by the way? I saw some people hating her.

Shizuna | May 10, 2024 10:26 AM
Kiseki has unprecedented number of wonderful. Who are your top-1 favorites from each arc so far (Sky, Crosbell arc, Cold Steel)?

Shizuna | May 10, 2024 9:55 AM
How about other girls, do you have a feeling you're going to like them too?

Shizuna | May 8, 2024 1:59 PM
I think you're going to love her in-game too.

Eh, pixiv and twitter are blocked here, same with most art hosting sites, so there's probably nowhere for me to check the artist.

Shizuna | May 8, 2024 10:53 AM
Ho, Risette?

btw I like how Boa looks in that large picture in your "about me" section. Very cute.

Sharp320 | Apr 29, 2024 5:06 AM
Buddy is complaining that a popular series liks Quintuplets keeps getting new projects and merch. Its almost like anime is a business.

Shizuna | Apr 28, 2024 12:29 PM
Thanks for the reply, it's an interesting perspective. The reason I asked about these two in particular is that I really liked their first episodes, but the rest turned out to be boring. Also, I agree with your statement about the slideshow situation in Pinkerton! Still, despite this, its first episode (the one with the girl named Hotaru) is actually my most re-watched hentai. It's lighthearted, hot and funny. Would be even better properly animated. I haven't read the source material, though.

Shizuna | Apr 28, 2024 10:47 AM
Yup.

Shizuna | Apr 28, 2024 10:17 AM
What's your opinion on pinkerton and kuroinu?

Entity72 | Apr 27, 2024 7:25 PM
Sorry for beung vague, I meant Overlord

Entity72 | Apr 27, 2024 7:45 AM
This LN/ anime Series gave me the first + Most Radically Intense Goosebumps I've ever felt in my whole life that I didn't even think was possible to experience,
I can't comprehend how they can adapt A Peak LN to an anime that exceeds even the tallest interdimensional Peaks,
This is just, enigmatically Mythical ❤️‍🔥

Ramkec | Mar 3, 2024 9:44 AM
Agreed for sure 100%!
