Not to mention that for those people you HAVE to pick a side and it's not possible to have mixed opinions about a subject, you need to have a clear solid and extreme opinion about it otherwise it means you're secretly on the "wrong" side, this is especially the case in politics where the newest generation can call people from the soft left wing "facists" because they're not as extremist as you are, and same for the other sides when you are a wokist if you do not want the death of LGBT people. The contrary can be said too in Ukraine for those who left Ukraine during the war (even nowadays I think). You're not a traitor for trying to find peace somewhere else. I think my family got this kind of issues because they left Ukraine during the cold war and never came back.
I think I heard about the Russian coke, does it really taste the same? I think all of that makes me think about a few examples in my city where Americanization is reshaping traditional heritage, the McDonald near my home took a traditional timber-framed house and didn't change it, but inside of it, it's the McDonald. What are the popular recent TV series/movies in Russia that we don't have in the West? Yes, these are the most essential principles to remain faithful to Jesus's legacy, so it makes sense. |

It does, but there are a couple of points and ideas through the story that are left for interpretation.

I realized I hadn't told you about the existence of this insect yet, it seems like something you would find interesting.... I think.

Do you know neotrogla?
Neotrogla, an insect that can be found in my country is very peculiar. Peculiar why? the female of this insect has a penis and the male has a vagina, the female inserts her penis into the male's vagina to suck the semen from his vagina with her penis and fertilize the eggs inside her. |

I'm going to ask a random question that has nothing to do with the subject. Can I?

It has that relaxing atmosphere but at the same time it's mysterious. A classic that didn't have the same attention Lain had. It would work well as a VN in my opinion.

This is what I was about to say too, it's obvious that a society cannot properly coexist with the tensions due to these groups, it will soon full loop to what it was become but once that day arrives it will be way more grim and destructive than it has been in the past due to the technical improvements when it comes to war gears and how isolated groups or solo person can cause great harms by themselves (take Christchurch's mosquee attack for example, I fear we will see more similar events soon and from both sides). Social networks are also obviously increasing the fears and radicalisation from both sides too.
Though isn't the "cultural destruction" fear isn't as present in America than in Russia nowadays due to how much the American culture and ideologies have been implemented to Europe, I mean even for us in France it's too late for that and the country is filled with American brands, I don't know how much it is present in Russia nowadays? But of course government or authorities, it all depends on which country, and things change very fast... From what I see he seems to be rather soft and I don't think that he will be that much implicated in politics when it comes to having impactful opinions or strong speeches. Just like what he said about Gaza, of course Zionists will disagree but most people already disagree with them to begin with, I think that coming from a Pope it's just a "normal" thing to do that will have no impact on the situation anyway. It might be like that for most ongoing, future conflicts and political/societal issues. |

Exactly yes but at the same time you can't say it's generational because the newest generation is very divided when it comes to politics just like the previous ones, a lot of young people are communist or far right militants but also more and more are becoming far-right or even openly xenophobic/racist.
It's understandable, it's often the case for older presidents/leaders when they're not from your country, people only see them for the values they had towards their country and not the job they did in their own one. To be honest a lot of people don't actively support these thoughts, it's just that the group effect is too strong when it become the norm to hate russians for what their government is doing, banning Russia from every worldwide competition made it easy to justify why you shouldn't interact with Russians and why you should hate them. I find it very stupid and unfair especially when Israel isn't treated the same way at all, just like we've seen during the latest Eurovision. Also a lot of Finnish people hear on repeat that Russia is going to invade their country that's also why they react this way, once again due to them believing everything the government says. I heard that he was registered as a Republican online though but not sure if it was fake news or not. The "issue" is that the pope is probably going to stay for decades so you never know how much he can be influenced by any future American president. |

Absolutely, but now we have basically lost everything, we can only make this aesthetic live through different means of art, but that's all.
Sadly it seems to be the case in most countries, Macron has a very "technocratic" style of governance and treats the country as if it was a company, he acting more like a CEO than a president, the middle class issues are acknowledge but nothing is done to fix the issues because he genuinely doesn't care as far as people keep working. Gaullism is just nostalgia at this point, only the national sovereignty and independence in foreign policy are still relevant but otherwise it's far gone, he's just referenced as the best example of how to rule the country for our recent presidents but if he was still alive nowadays he would be classified as far right here LOL. I heard the same regarding Meloni's governance, so it's probably true. But I see what you mean it must be much harder as a Russian in these cases, I would say as a french we get a lot of "hate" and mockeries but it's nothing too deep unlike Russia's current situation. But then you mean that Russian people often hate Finish people for what their government thinks just like it is for Italy? I've been to Finland two years ago (a perfect country to visit for its culture its identity and monuments, indeed) and I think I've still seen a lot of Russian tourists here but I'm not sure. I had no idea, it would be interesting to hear what he thinks about it if he ever comes to visit the country. |

Yes, basically from the end of the 18th century until the start of World War I.
The most impressive and surprising thing is that we were already able to record videos at that time, so we can still watch real footage from that era. For example, this one represents the Belle Époque in France: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1fHR0H2fmKY But yeah, it's that mix of historical accuracy and fantasy world-building that makes it so great. People need to understand two things: 1. It's not always one-sided. 2. What the president says or does doesn't represent what the whole population thinks or agrees with. I don't get how anyone can believe that an entire nation shares the exact same views as their president especially when he's hated by a large part of the population and often acts on his own. So there are still tensions between Italians and Russians? I'm surprised. Yes, for example, think about the infamous Japanese Kobe A5 beef, this is the kind of meat you'd eat at a 3-star Michelin restaurant there, prepared by a top-tier chef, I assume. I heard the new Pope had French roots, but I didn't know they were from Normandy lol, that surprised me. He doesn't really seem to care about his roots, though. |
