English language bookwalker rankings for 2018: https://global.bookwalker.jp/ex/feature/2018-ranking/light-novel.htmlBear in mind that some series are not available on any other site - the series in 4th, 11th and 19th on this site will be FAR lower in a general rankings list. Series not available in physical format (and, to a lesser extent, series where the physical release is behind the digital one) will obviously also do better here than in general, and likewise those series without a digital release won't be on here at all. Bookwalker also makes up a far smaller proportion of English language e-book light novel sales than the Japanese site does for Japanese language e-book sales. Still interesting to see, though. |

I've started (and started is the right word) moving the links in the main page of the spreadsheet over to MAL links, rather than the LNDB links that are there at present. I'm also adding more links as I go through. These will of course get added to the thread the next time this is updated (in perhaps 3 weeks time or so?)If something doesn't have a page on MAL and already has a link to LNDB then that link will stay. |

I would expect any skew in one direction for one of these two things to be automatically balanced out by the other, so it's a reasonable estimate. Bear in mind that Oricon does not count ebook sales. |

TenSura volume 1 was 24th on honto's light novel ranking for last week. I hope it gets on the Oricon rankings - there's obviously a huge backlog of sales there that we don't have the figures for. Last week 24th on honto was 20th on the Oricon light novel rankings, but obviously it can vary from week to week as honto is just one retailer. The main threads should be updated at some point next week by the way. |
