(Bleh, been awhile!)I meant laugh as in, "Really? =O Screw that, I rather spend that money on out of print volumes of the manga than an expensive shirt that I'll likely tear a small hole in 5 minutes =O" because... that's my luck with shirts that cost more than $10. |

Only 2 days left to pledge on Anime Sols for Black Jack TV to be put on DVD!http://animesols.com/videos/57 They went up about $2k today, so there's still a chance. And if you're worried that you won't get your money back after pledging (like on Kickstarter) from what I've seen on their site, if they don't reach their goal, you won't be charged. |

Though it doesn't look like you can buy these online, you have to go a physical store and the only store I see in in Washington... I don't know, I could be wrong about buying unable to buy it online. |

Oh my, I went up to $200? I must have missed that since it was my birthday in March and I wasn't allowed to look up things I wanted to buy... But I got 6 volumes of BJ for my bday, so I have 12 in total now! |

Looks like Volume 9 is -slowly- dropping in value! The cheapest I see is about $64 (including shipping), so that's a little under a $30 drop since February. I hope it continues to drop, even if it's a gradual drop, I'm patient <3 |

I was pondering if it was a case of a short print run as well on certain volumes. If there's enough demand, there's a small possibility of it being reissued, but doubtful since it was released in 2010 (doesn't feel like it's been that long ago...) It's more likely to go into moratorium and pop up again in about 7 to 10 years and/or they might try to push digital copies, which I rather waste the space in my room and have a physical copy, but that's me, lol. |

I think it has more to do with the availability of the particular volume. Like, some volumes get a smaller print run than others and thereby go OOP faster. Then Amazon sellers and eBay (who basically decide the prices) take advantage of that. |

Dude. BJ is totally in demand! I even had to go to the local library and flipped thru vol. 9 to see why it's so high. It's the volume where BJ gets tortured. I guess that's why? I dunno. But still $90!?!?! Really!?!?!I dunno what to do. I'm scared if I wait it might go up.... |

90 dollars!!!!!!!! *start quote*WTFFFFFFFFFF!!!*end quote*I actually had a very nice trick to avoid paying so much on Amazon: I just had to join the community(or whatever it's called) of the italian publishers of a manga I was interested in and order it directly from them, spending something like 5$ for a manga sold for 199.63$ on Amazon.(I am NOT joking, I can give you proof of what I'm saying if you don't believe me P.S. I wouldn't). Anyway, I discovered Black Jack's italian publishers...Went bankrupt...Something like ten years ago...A friend of mine bought volume 14 in an antique shop, AN ANTIQUE SHOP!! ... T.T |

Same here D: I think 9 will be last, 10 is juggling to me...I still need to try one of the local comic book places, they -might- have black jack (they had a few tezuka stuff), but I don't go there much because they're jerks over there. I'll still buy it if the jerks have vol 9 >.> |

I totally had to go to Amazon. You is RIGHT!!! Vol. 9 is 90 GOD-DANGED DOLLARS!!! WTFFFFFFFFFFFF!! The rest are all about normal pricing. And Vol. 9 cannot be bought used either.Now my town library has teh complete set. And it's all free. But I'm still in the process of collecting them. As of now I'm sure taht Vol. 9 is gonna be last. Sad to say! |

lol, if you guys haven't looked already....Volume 8 is about $10 to $20 depending if you want used or new Volume 9 is about $90 now Volume 10 is about $40 to $45 Volume 15 is about $30 and Volume 6 is still at it's normal price |
