ANNOUNCEMENT: Hello fellow Perth Peeps.

As this club is pretty much inactive I have decided to abandon this club.
Someone else is more than welcome to take over. Just let me know.

I will give until Wednesday 27th January 2016. If no one wants the role of admin, I will delete the club.

Sorry everyone ><

Ahhh, I didn't go this year. I think my sister did. She likes Steampunk-stuff and gets all dressed up.

So, Supernova is coming up again and for a change I'm not working when it is on.

The plan is to go this time around if at all possible, probably on Saturday.

Anyone else likely to be going?

deletedaccount4 | Feb 9, 2015 12:58 AM
Nope. I've only seen Death Billiards, which was awesome.

pennyiscute | Feb 2, 2015 4:39 AM
Is anyone watching Death Parade? It's pretty good.

Merry Christmas and a happy new year everyone!

Has anyone been to the city to see the giant tree? The city is so busy this time of year ><

pennyiscute | Nov 27, 2014 2:51 AM
I still check in, every known then, but yeah, pretty quiet here.

So, what's been happening, mechasundead? What are you currently watching/loving?

Time Of Eve blueray DVD should be arriving in the post soon. I backed the KickStarter project almost 2 years ago for the English dub.

I can't wait until I get my DVD :))

I watch most of my anime, and read most of my manga online (or downloaded).
But i do have a lot of anime / manga.
250manga, 45anime series (or parts of), 380manga comics and 80vhs.

I live where most of my manga and anime come from, the 80's =P

pennyiscute | Oct 21, 2014 5:39 PM
I watch all my anime on Crunchyroll (and shows they don't licensed, I download). I own Summer Wars on Blueray and Studio Ghibli's entire collection (before Ponyo). I buy all my manga digitally (I only own 5 physical books).

I'm apart of the digital world :D

valaurelius | Oct 21, 2014 6:11 AM
haha, the only physical dvds i buy are anime, even then they are rather cheap.
heck, i have even bought 80anime vhs this year =P
i don't use iTunes very much. probably only on the ipad mini.

Years is a long time, but hey at least it is saving a whole lot of space! (imagine how much room you would use if you bought it all physically rather than by itunes)

pennyiscute | Oct 20, 2014 7:53 PM
God, I haven't purchased a physical CD's or DVD's in....*counts*...a long time, like, years! Everything I do now is iTunes. Even renting movies is all done on my Apple TV.

valaurelius | Oct 19, 2014 9:34 PM
haha, there is one in Carousel.
I guess they must be the blockbuster of supermarket stores haha

pennyiscute | Oct 19, 2014 6:43 PM
There are still Sanity stores?!?! People still buy CD's?

Mind. Blown!

valaurelius | Oct 18, 2014 7:36 AM
well, at least it's not as bad as some sanity's can be with their anime set ups.

valaurelius | Oct 18, 2014 7:27 AM
haha, well i suppose that Avatar isn't far off being anime. well other than the fact it's not Japanese for starters. I think they put it in the anime section in most jb stores.
could be worse, they could put something in there that should be three kms away from the anime =P

pennyiscute | Oct 18, 2014 7:19 AM
No, haha, that's every JB HiFi store. Whitfords and Malaga staff also know nothing about anime.

Here's an example: the Whitfords store had the entire series of Avatar: The Last Airbender in the anime section..........yeah, they don't know anything.
