*Spoiler*

Grimmer showed the most character development. He always had such wholesome things to say to others despite not knowing how to feel. I wonder if his character was inspired by Mr. Rogers. Such a bittersweet ending where his real feelings finally return.

“I think I must have figured out how the show ended. The Magnificent Steiner, he probably, became human again."
RIP Wolfgang Grimmer - I hope you get your name back in heaven and be with your son.

If youre born then youre wanted by someone.- Grimmerđź’ś.He may be a normal side character but he was truely the best. Grimmer teach us an important thing when youre in trouble you are yours one and only saviour. The Magnificent Steinner and the grimmer both is you.

His death was really sad. He was such a great guy, kept on smiling after all the horrible stuff he's gone through... RIP to my favorite character of this show you'll be missed :(

Grimmer's actor seems to be Patrick Seitz.
At first I was pretty on the fence about it, but by the end of the episode I was behind him as his voice.
Good stuff. I'd forgotten how great Grimmer is.

I can't wait for Monster tonight, since Grimmers finally gonna be on TV! I just hope that his voice actor, who should have been announced by now, does him justice.

I just finished watching episode 71. I admit I shed a tear... I had read the manga years ago and had forgotten that he dies...

We should change the word smile to Grimmer

haha, i know cringe worthy. But for someone who can not feel anything and still smile all the time ? Then that person iis truly great.

I recently finished the manga adaptation of Monster, not the anime, and I must say that when Grimmer was crying while the rain was pouring down, that made me feel very sentimental. My heart breaks in instances like these when a person is devoid in reality or can't even express what they feel. It's similar to an inward struggle trying to get out, but his circumstances (orphanage, Kinderheim 511, made him like a stoic person.

He was actually of the two people that I did not want to die in the series, including Lunge. ^^

But he died. However, he passed away with a flicker of happiness and sadness combined...

Tikuko says it perfectly for all of us Grimmer lovers.

I don’t think anything in anime has hit me harder than his death.
