Bread! The best thing since sliced bread?

Anpanman (アンパンマン) is a Japanese children's superhero picture book series written by Takashi Yanase, running from 1973 until the author’s death in 2013. The series has been adapted into an anime entitled Soreike! Anpanman (それいけ!アンパンマン, Let's Go! Anpanman), which is one of the most popular anime series among young children in Japan. The series follows the adventures of Anpanman, a superhero with an anpan (a red bean paste filled pastry) for a head, who protects the world from an evil anthropomorphic germ named Baikinman.

There are currently 83 Anpanman anime (+ 2 related entries by Yanase Takashi: Yanase Takashi Märchen Gekijou and Hal no Fue) listed on MAL and this club's sidebar.

Chiaki lists 85 Anpanman anime but Yanase Takashi Märchen Gekijou (Robo-kun to Kotori episode) and Hal no Fue were just screened in Yanase Takashi Theater with Anpanman ga Umareta Hi.

I'm not sure how Yanase Takashi Märchen Gekijou and Hal no Fue are really related to Anpanman (as I've yet to watch both) other than being by Anpanman's creator Yanase, Takashi and screened alongside Anpanman ga Umareta Hi. I've seen some thumbnails on UNext (https://video.unext.jp/title/SID0042347 | https://video.unext.jp/title/SID0032580) but I have yet to see any familiar characters from Anpanman. The characters may look like they're from Anpanman but that's because they were by the same creator. Anyhow, I found some trailers.
