My very first Cosplay was as San from Princess Mononoke.
My second Cosplay was as Saya Otonashi from Blood+.
My third Cosplay was as Revy from Black lagoon.
My fourth Cosplay was as Musashi from Kantai Collection. (That's how my nickname/Username Musashi stuck with me for ages.)
All that Cosplay was back when i still lived in the United States.
My fifth Cosplay being my first after moved to Japan was Zombina from Monster Musume.
My sixth Cosplay was as Takao from Arpeggio of Blue Steel -Ars Nova-.
My seventh Cosplay was as Miyoko Sahara from Koe no katachi.

So my most recent cosplay was as Miyoko Sahara from Koe no katachi.
I let my good friend Mitsuyo san who was born deaf cosplay as Shouko Nishimiya.

Even when we was not in character at all just being are selfs people still thought we was in character.
Some people was surprised with how well they thought we played the characters, when again lots of the times we was not in character.

No joke we can have been getting lunch with each other talking with each other in JSL and person would think we was in character.
Would have people ask us lots of stuff.
I had to explain to number of people that outside of Cosplay as normal people.
My friend really is deaf, she was born deaf, Her hearing aids are real, we use real Japanese sign language to talk to each other, she has to really write everything down if person don't know Japanese sign language and her deaf speech voice is how she really talks 24/7.
As for me i was born hard of hearing, my hearing aids are real and i really talk like this 24/7.
Was little annoying that some people after they heard that they would give us the funeral face look and say something like "I'm sorry your disabled that must very hard" speech.
After like the third time i started saying back stuff like "I'm sorry your healthy and your hearing is good, that must be very hard.
Would confuse the hell out of them. XD

Would have to understand that growing up hearing stuff like that with the fake i'm sorry from people once they hear that your hard of hearing or deaf... get's old very fast and is annoying.

Was planing to do Zero two Cosplay but i had got pregnant at the time.

Once you date person for few months you can tell lot about that person and some about there family.

Sound like child yes.

If going to use soy sauce on your White rice, least don't use the same bowl
Pick up some rice and just gently dip it into bowl of soy sauce.
Kind of like sushi.

Well if use chopsticks to eat daily almost 24/7 it's very hard to not be good with them.
Being smart ass i can pick up grain of rice with chopsticks.
However i been eating with chopsticks almost my whole life.

Both My friend Haruko san and my older half sister are friends.
They been friends since the first time my older half sister ever visited Japan.

Nobody, i'm just saying that is annoying when person don't reply to your text.

Well... China is known for it's Cheap made... well everything.

Speaking or Chinese and then American..
It's still annoying how very many Americans can't tell the difference from Chinese, Japanese or Korean.
Very many Americans in the United States just see Asian person and think they are Chinese.
I lost count back when i lived in the United States just how many people thought and assumed i was Chinese.
Would have to correct them and tell them i'm Japanese not Chinese, that they are not the same.
The Racist comeback defences i heard back then.
Mean if you are in fact Chinese and person thinks and assumes you are Chinese..
That's not big deal but if you not Chinese my God that's annoying.
I don't miss any of that from back when I lived in the United States. XD

I do miss hanging out at the food court in the mall near the Japanese restaurant.
Was regular customer and friends with most the Japanese staff that worked there.
(I was just teenager at the time.)
Got to point they known me well and liked me.
I was not even part of the staff but would still get employee discount on my meal orders.
They known my normal meal order, That i used chopsticks and would talk to me in Japanese.

Where with my good Mexican American friend Sara... it's kind of like that but at Mexican restaurant.
She would talk and joke with the Mexican staff in Spanish.
If i was with her i would just listen and be confused cause i don't really know Spanish.
Guess it's kind of like culture comfort thing one can say.
Are around your culture of people, eating your cultures food, speaking your cultures language.

Know thinking back on...
When my Mother and her boyfriend took me out for dinner at Japanese restaurant before was leaving back for Japan.
I was not really that comfortable more embarrassed if anything.
Even if my Mother and her boyfriend was trying to be caring and understanding.
Did spent some time staring at the knife on the table then my Mother.
She understood there was still part of me that wanted to kill her for what she did to me as child and she accepted that.

Seeing my half Japanese Mother and her Caucasian boyfriend fail over and over again at using chopsticks braking so much chopstick etiquette... My god that shit was very annoying and embarrassing.
They both can't use pair of chopsticks to save there damn lives.
Then they would watch me use my pair of chopsticks like it's nothing at all.
Then some of the stuff my Mothers boyfriend asked me was kind of racist or just wrong.
Oh i how can i forget my Mothers boyfriend poured so much Goddamn soy sauce on his white rice that the rice turned black.
If i had not been pregnant at that time i would have drink so much damn Sake just to try and forget that any of that had happen.
Picture some pregnant Japanese women in Japanese restaurant sitting across the table from two clowns.
That's the best way i can described how that might have looked to other people.

Sounds like lots of family problems on your side of family.

Depends what person finds as pretty?
What i find as pretty might not be the same as what you find pretty.

With my friend Ritsuko san...
Think of like Japanese women who is the quiet, submission and enjoys wearing plain cloths why out in Public.
However the quiet and submission is just outside act to hide how she really is.
Behind closed doors she is kind of nerdy and into some kinky stuff like BDSM.
She does have collection of Japanese Geisha dolls.
(I'm not talking the kind of dolls that childen play with.)
I'm talking fancy high quality, very detailed dolls that are not cheap.

There was one that really stood out, out of all of them.
I once asked her Ritsuko san about it and why she had so many?
She told me story how it happen.
It all started out with just one and the story is kind of sweet.
When she was little her Mother had this antique Geisha doll.
Ritsuko san really liked it but she did not understand that it was antique and her Mother would not let her play with it.
Well Ritsuko san when her Mother was not around once started playing with the antique Geisha doll.
She accidentally broke it, her Mother was very upset at her.
Turns out that antique Geisha doll was gift from her Mother when she became teenager.
Well Ritsuko sans Mother fixed that antique Geisha doll the best she can.
Ritsuko sans Mother gave her that antique Geisha doll when Ritsuko san became teenager and told her to take good care of it.
That maybe one day she would give it to her daughter.
That antique Geisha doll is family heirloom that was passed down to Ritsuko san.
Since then over time she got more Geisha doll till she had collection of them.
However that one antique Geisha doll is still very special to her.

My older half sister has been to Japan few times already.
Just this time it's not for some big sight seeing vacation tour.
So if she wants to visit somewhere besides Osaka she is on her own.
Told her before she leaves Japan i'm going to ingrain some Japanese culture into her.

I'm the type of person who understands people have lives.
I let people reply to me when ever they want to or can.
Over text on cellphone however that's other story. XD

Hope everything comes in the mail alright. ^_^

Can be worse, can not drink Coffee or energy drink due to heart problem. XD

Yes. I use to do cosplay, however was bigger into it before i had child.

In other news have my American older half sister is visiting Japan for sometime.
She landed yesterday and has jet lag.
My older half sister and me trying to fix are very dysfunctional sibling relationship.
It started off as kind of joke few months back but became real thing we are both been working on.

Maybe year or two ago i once told her something around the lines of...
One day you are going to wake up and life is going to bitch smack across the face so hard that you have an epiphany.
When that happens ask yourself? Is it to late to change or do you still have time?
The path she keeps walking only leads to a lonely forgotten grave.

Well few months back life bitch smacked her very hard.
Well it hit her that...
The moment are Grandmother passed away she lost touch with that side of family.
The moment she Betrayed and broke the trust of her German grandmother she lost touch with that side of family.
Both sides of her family gone, She is left behind with no real family anymore.
All she had left was two fragments being are Mother and her younger half sister being me.
Her relationship with both being so broken there is almost nothing even left.
Other way to think about it would be...
Her big family tree burned down and all she has left of that tree is some small branch.
Just one little tree branch that's in bad shape out of what the tree use to be.

Now, I did lose touch with are Grandmothers side of family once she passed away.

However, I never lost touch with her German Grandmother.
I even talk to some people on that side of her family still besides her Grandmother.
When comes to family i'm better off then my older half sister.
I still have my Fathers side of family that is Japanese that i keep in touch with.
Same as i have my Husbands side of family since i'm part of there family.

So if my older half sister gets close to me and we fix are dysfunctional sibling relationship...
Besides having me back as family, i can see about getting her back in touch with her German side of family.
She has to stay in my good graces however.
Meaning she has to mature, listen and learn why being out of her comfort zone.
She has to set her American mindset aside cause it don't work in her favor.

Know this morning why i was feeding Hatsuko chan.
My older half sister was: Wow.
I asked her: What?
She was: It's just i never thought would see the day that my little half sister Hanako would be motherly.
Told her: Having child can change person.. Will understand it on deeper level if ever have child.
