Plant Club

Information
I just really like plants. The plant life in Nausicaä, Arrietty, and Princess Mononoke as well as the frequent rose imagery in Utena are the most obvious examples I can think of. This is a place to share and discuss all your favourite Manga and Anime plants, and even cool irl plants! Basically this is my mood board, a place for me to collate cool plants to use as reference in my drawing, but it'd be really cool if others were interested in joining in. It should go without saying but this club is 100% zen 100% of the time, and drama is actively non-zen.

hey :)
forgot to mention, Anne of Green Gables, my favourite country girl!

hello~
idk about anime exclusively about plants, but Mikuru from Aikatsu! and Yumi from Idolmaster really love plants. Mikuru runs a flower shop and is considered a "top" gardener (the series is about idols, so her winning the world cup of gardening is a symbol of how much she loves plants). Yumi is a home gardener with a strong liking towards flowers and plants in general (to the point it got her and her producer in a bit of trouble..lel)

Oh thanks for the suggestions @mutsuto and @Shaharazade , I'm still getting my head around the whole club thing (I've barely even dipped my toe in before now). I will see about adding some related characters and anime shortly!

ohh, great club @Hisakura. I also love plants and nature in general. Two character relations that I can think of are: 1. Rokka Shimao, the female lead from Natsuyuki Rendezvous who owns a flower shop. 2. Aurelia Jones from Victorian Romance Emma, who rejects the aristocratic lifestyle of her husband and lives a reclusive life in the countryside taking care of her pretty little Japanese garden.

You should start adding club relations for things you find noteworthy and relevant.

For starters add Arrietty.

There are also tonnes of educational agricultural anime you may be interested in.

So I'm pretty sure I need to post at least one comment as way of promotion (so the club appears in the list of recent club activity in the community tab).
Anyone have any recommendations of anime involving plants?
