Mission Statement (of sorts):
To be blunt, this club is about people. It’s about the people who are in it. It’s about anime, chatting, fun, games, and whatever else you want it to be about, but at its heart what makes this club different from you sitting in your room and watching anime are the people and the connections. There are a lot of clubs that look similar to SWA, but what SWA has is you. Or maybe not you. Maybe SWA has that person over there, me, and a few others in that general direction. What makes this community intrinsically different, aside from the exciting things that the admins are inevitably planning and the great future I see for it, are the people within it. The people here want to be your friends, mostly. Some of them just want to talk about anime. Some of them want to talk about anything with people who share similar interests. So my mission with SWA is not only to provide a platform and the structure for you to watch anime and talk about it with people, but the structure by which we can become a community, and in doing so become a unique niche in MAL and in the world at large. People, fun, exciting things. They are all out there. Grab ahold of us as we make our way out to find them. If you’re not one for mostly-cheesy (although I believe every word) speeches and mission statements, there isn’t much to say. Hopefully I’ll see you around~ -ara _____________________________________
