I'm gonna write how I feel about Kaori after watching the anime. I guess there will be spoilers so if anyone (for some reason) hasn't watched it yet, ignore this. Also little little spoilers for Violet Evergarden, sorry. ^.^ At first, I didn't like the art style, because it was a little different from what I'm used to watching. But as the episodes went on, I started liking it more and more. I binged the anime, because I got into watching more anime only recently, but so far, this has been (along with Violet Evergarden), the most crushing thing I've ever seen. I loved every single second of it. I never even thought that it is possible to miss a character this much. Violet at least spread it out into several episodes, but here, episode 22 hit like a truck. I even thought that it would end happily because the surgery would help. I was feeling like Kousei, getting saved from my own suffering by this angel, and then one moment and she is gone. It still feels like someone I knew IRL has died and I now can't even imagine losing someone like that. I was crying, crying and I still am while typing this. I cry when I think about her or when I listen to classical music. And it's still just a fictional character. I can't thank enough to everyone who worked on this masterpiece, and if this is how a show can make you feel, I want to experience more of it. Kaori is easily one of my favorite characters and I think she will stay there.

Hello, our dear friends who also like Miyazono Kaori, we need your help now!
As you know, in the ISML 2017 competition, Kaori was outed at the sixth round (eight rounds in total) because of losing continually. But in the fact, Kaori could go on the higher stage, because the ballot tickets’ gaps between Kaori and other characters (Mitsuha and Rem are ignored) are very small! So, we created a fans club for Kaori and wish that can bring a better result in next competition. One unlucky thing is that You lied in April was ended almost 3 years ago, In China, we only have about 100 members (behind other characters’ fans club greatly). According to what we heard, Kaori is in the top 60 in the Favorite rank of the MAL, and then we want to find the funs of Kaori like us in worldwide. It's rare these days for a character to jump out and grab my heart the way Kaori Miyazono did. The series, Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso would have been nothing without her. She dominates this story much like Yuno Gasai did for Mirai Nikki. She is unforgettable and I just might have to purchase the series just to watch her at will. LOL. It's so refreshing to see a character so well fleshed out in this day of mediocre anime.

Because she pulled kousei out of his dark depression. Literally saving his life. Kinda like a guardian angel. She guided him back on the right path before she passed on. Of course that's only the tip of the iceberg. Her funny, carefree, out of the box way of thinking/playing are all just a few more reasons why she's an amazing character :)
