Kokutou Azaka (黒桐鮮花) is Kokutou Mikiya's younger sister, who's in love with him. She becomes an apprentice of Aozaki Touko due to her rivalry against Ryougi Shiki, and is talented in the magic of ignition. She is quite similar both in appearance and abilities to Tohno Akiha (though Akiha's ability consists of controlling external heat, whereas Azaka's ability is inducing ignitions).
In an interview, Nasu stated that, despite their rivalry, Azaka actually likes Shiki's personality and vice-versa, except their relationship with Mikiya has made it difficult for both of them becoming good friends.
The origin that she has is "Taboo" (straying away from the norms).<!--center--></div>
