Considering we used to be nearly 30 volumes behind about a year ago, I'd say yeah, the translations are picking up quite nicely. |

Scans for SBR are about 5 volumes behind. It's currently in volume 19 in Japan but scans are only up to volume 14. |

It isn't actually Cars (although it would be pretty hard core if speeding up the entire universe caused him to cycle around and come crashing back into Earth), but a villain in a later arc does something very conveniently similar. A sort of "You'll know it when you see it" moment. I won't spoil it.Unfortunately, it's a few volumes from where the translations are, so I wouldn't expect to see it anytime in the near future. |

One of the race's sponsors is Speedwagon Oil if I remember. I know, I know, it's not the same as having him personally interfering, but it's there.Though there's also a rumor flying around that Mountain Tim was supposed to SBR's Speedwagon, so that works. From reading the RAWs, there's also a fantastic Cars reference coming up. |
