She used to go to the same middle school as Kazuki.
She was his first true love. However, she was dating his best friend, Kijima Touji, and he was often only emotional support for her when she had difference with her boyfriend. She often let Kazuki lick her tears. After Kazuki told her off, she disappeared along with her ex-boyfriend, Kijima Touji.
During the "Game of Idleness", "O" appears in front of Kamiuchi Koudai and Oomine Daiya as Nana. There he also reveals that Nana and Touji are not dead, as Kazuki believe, but are inside of Otonashi Maria's box.
