She had a son, Naruto Uzumaki, with the Hokage of the time, Minato Namikaze. Despite Naruto's close resemblance to his father, much of his personality and choice of ninjutsu are said to be similar to that of his mother's. She is presumed to be dead, as she is described in past tense. Her face is shown in a couple slides as she is talking with Jiraiya and Minato Namikaze.
