Aslan Battour (アスラン・バトゥール)Serge's father, heir to the Viscount Battour family, who died of tuberculosis before the series' beginning. While he was a student at Lacombrade, he started suffering from tuberculosis and was absent from school for a year. He had a talent for the piano and aspired to become a pianist, but his father Joseph Louis Battour strongly opposed it. He fell in love with Pavia at first sight, stole her from Georges-Louis Gargeret and eloped with her.
