BathinHe is an Aposlte of Despair, a Devilkin whose level far surpasses that of an SS ranked monster. He is also the self-proclaimed strongest among the Apostles. After fighting and losing to Holy Warrior Poer during the attack after the events of the Familiar Chalice, he had claimed his own life while saying that Poer's way of life might be interesting.After making a deal with God, he gets to experience the life of a human mortal. Albeit reluctantly, he accepts. He is reborn inside Gaston's mind and even helps him during his fight with the devil-transformed Billie. Although they were unable to kill him, that fight which led to both his and Gaston's death had filled Bathin with a sense of fulfillment.
