Cocoa (可可)Cocoa is an energetic, optimistic and brave character, though somewhat selfish and self-centered.Cocoa is brought to Moon Haven on her way to a concert late at night. Her destiny is to gather 7 secret treasures with the genies of Moon Haven to avert a barrage of natural disasters that will lead to the planet becoming a black hole if this is not done in time. Cocoa is a magical girl. She uses amulets, badges and wands to transform. Unlike a conventional magical girl, Cocoa transforms into professions or lifestyles rather than into one special costume (eg. Beautiful fashionable girl, makeup artist, fire fighter, superhero etc). Her transformations and spells are prefaced with “KuruKuru Transform”. Her wands and badges disappear when not in use, and reappear when she is about to perform magic. Though Cocoa becomes more compassionate as the show progresses, her end goal is to see the concert she was sneaking out to see in the first episode before she was taken to Moon Haven. She originally refuses to save the planet because she wants to see the concert. Her rival is Rice, a genie she bumps into in the first episode. Rice has two henchmen, Jī lī and Gūlū (no official English name). Though, by the end of the series she becomes an ally to Cocoa and Princess Amy. The end credits show Cocoa viewing herself in Moon Haven through a Nana Moon mini and maxi pet, but this is not addressed within the show.
