In Gaiden: He and his team were investigating and involved in the events related to Yin's awakening. During the very last phase of the awakening, they tried to stop it using anti-Gate particle but failed.
After the awakening stops, Goro reports to his superiors about the situation and reads from a related part of the Mikata Documents.
In Ryuusei no Gemini: He visits Misaki and invites her to join Section 3. Later, he instructs the members of Section 3 in many missions during the event. At the end, he decides to join and works as one of the Syndicate members.
