He tends to get away with it because his father, Ippongi Kazushi, is a yakuza member. His homeroom teacher, Ueda Wataru, does not treat him any different than his other students though. When Wataru asks why he skips classes, Musashi stated he skipped because it was boring. He aspires to defy his father and refuses to go to college once he graduates. He would rather work directly after graduation. He's known as being bisexual after making advances on his homeroom teacher, Ueda Wataru. He keeps two phones because he worries of girls finding out about other girls on his cell phone. It's also been stated he looks a lot like his father according to Wataru. He sometimes comes into class with wounds. He's said that his father reprimands him for his bad work ethics. He'll also be punished by having his phone taken away.
