Zashiki-warashi (ざしきわらし)Zashiki-warashi are house spirits originating from Iwate Prefecture. They are fond of mischief but believed to bring great fortune. They appear as five or six year old children with blushing red faces. They can be boys or girls, and usually wear traditional clothes. It is said that in some instances only the house owners or children are able to see them, therefore they are most often noticed for their pranks.(Source: NHK) Voice Actors
