Spring 14 Top 10-ish
Anime Relations: Love Live! Ok starting this season (Spring 14) i'll post my own ranking!
As the title tell, it's not so Top 10, there will be some categories like Top Performer, Underatted etc
notice that it'll potentially change when the season ends...

Ahh Spring......after suffering with awful Winter (CHUUNI-oh well), Spring comes with vast of premises. I noticed that there's at least 2 show that are anticipated the most, Mahouka and Mekakucity Actors. let's talk about this 2 a bit..
Mahuoka Koukou no Rettousei is adapted from popular LN (i don't care) with the same title. It's all about Magic, Discrimination between the skilled one and the not one (Railgun?), and a bunch of INCEST!!. So far, it's pretty solid IMO, there's a lot (or maybe too much) explanation about the magic in theories and stuff, which is OK. The action scene and the animation overall is awesome, as expected from Madhouse. I'm still a bit bothered with vast amount of ONII-SAMA in every episode, but whatever...it's ok as long it's not ruining the whole concept of story. KanaHana's Saegusa is still my favourite, although my liking to Miyuki is slowly growing...and there's LiSA!! Rising Hope as OP is Epic, while the ED is just OK i guess (not a big fans of ELISA). Overall, Mahouka is damn entertaining, the pace is good (not rushed), and not so much complain after all.
now....Mekakucity Actors
Mekakucity Actors, or Kagerou Project, adapted from popular Manga (i don't give a crap) created by Jin, the same guy that doing vocaloid stuff (don't really care since vocaloid is not my thing). Shaft-Aniplex (Shaniplex) collaboration is continued, so my expectation is high. And what i can say is...Okay. Well, it's good but not great. I mean, Shaft could do better, especially with the animation. Compared with many other 'Shafted' show, honestly it's a bit below average i guess. It's lack of vibrant colours and fluid movement, and not to mention the details. Really, Shaft should follow KyoAni in terms of SCHEDULING, one show per season, with possibly one season for rest. And i'm here glad to see Hanamonogatari will be aired August instead of May, which is good as Shaft will only focus to only MCA and the last episode of Nisekoi. Story-wise, MCA got some premise. Sure it's not shown chronologically (remember Durarara?) so i could't talk much about the story compared with the one that has read the Manga, but i can sense that averything will be revealed and explained later, which is a good thing i guess. Overall, i can say that MCA is a good show, still lack of great animation, but it's Shaft's show, i want to keep the faith!
