I just saw Toy Story 3 and yes, as expected, it was as great as its predecessors. There were tear moments and funny moments...*ahem* *points below*

Anyway I saw Totoro make a cameo!

Wow, its been >2 years since I joined (I think). Anyway, just got done with Hunter x Hunter (great anime til the ending came), and while I was watching, I came up with a list of a few elements I like and dislike in an anime.

Dislikes(I'll start off with this one):
-Sloooooooooooooooooooooooow story pregression - kinda like dbz where cell and goku stare off for like 3 episodes before they make a sudden flinch.
-Anime focusing on too much art rather than plot - okay, I get it. Your flashy moves, over-sized weapons, and cool spiked hair makes eye candy and big bucks. Sorry but that won't effect my enjoyability in a series. A good story is what makes the flashy moves, over-sized weapons, and cool spiked hair interesting. Otherwise, you got no backbone to support those things nor my motivation to continue watching this crap.
-Fillers - go figure.
-Quantity - I'm talking about shows like bleach, naruto, inuyasha, and one piece. I prefer my anime short and sweet (e.g., cowboy bebop). There is an exception to this rule and that is Doraemon. There really is no story progression in this series because every episode has its own story, which I like :)
-Characters that aren't unique at all - there are the shy, nonathletic (as well as nonacademic) type, the indifferent types (the ones with stupid emo look), the overconfident-but-a-complete-failure type, etc. This category doesn't bother me much. However, i do like an anime with memorable characters that are unique and stand out among the rest of the cliche.
-A great series with a horrible ending...*coughhunterxhuntercough* OR should I say, an incomplete anime that stops halfway in the manga series.

-Think of the total opposite of my dislikes and you've got a perfect anime.
