Anime Relations: Inuyashiki

I know that it can seems a little bit ridiculous to do such comparisons, however, when I watched this new long awaited Hollywood movie (sure will achieve some Oscars this year, I hope so), I just thought: "Man, where is Inuyashiki-san to save humanity this time...". I just had to re-watch the anime, it's so good and one of the best works from Hiroya Oku for me.

But seriously, if Inuyashiki, for some reason, existed on the movie context, I think that save it wasn't really worth (He could save it, of course, because a 10 km diameter comet is nothing compared to a 50 km asteroid... Isn't it?). I'm just thinking, and as I said, it's just a comparison that came to my mind when the movie was over. After all, what really scares me is that the world painted on the movie is very close to what we live these times, specially if you compare the comet with the covid-19.

This is my first blog post aside AWC and MRC, I'm not so used to do things like that and I'm not a native english speaker, but sometimes I give a try. So, did you guys remembered Inuyashiki when you saw the movie? (if you have seen it, of course. If not, I highly recommend it).
