Because the entire point of watching anime is figuring out who best girl is

Demi-chan wa Kataritai: Hikari by a fucking mile. You can never go wrong with a cute vampire girl.
Runner Up: Sakie is okay too, but she'll never be able to compete with Hikari.

Fuuka: Sara is probably the only one I can tolerate.
Runner Up: No one. The idol isn't a very compelling character and

Gabriel Dropout: Vigne is pretty adorable, even though she has plenty of competition. There's just something about being the kindest person in the show thus far, despite being a demon, that is very interesting and compelling. Plus I like her outfit in the ED.
Runner Up: Satania is hilarious, and is a very close second, but I'm going with the straight man here.

Maid Dragon: Tooru is definitely one of my favorite characters this season, so I guess she's best girl of the season?
Runner Up: Kanna and Riko are tied, because they're both adorable in different ways.

Konosuba: Megumin is irresistibly adorable, and her stubborn refusal to learn anything besides explosion magic makes the series hilarious.
Runner Up: Aqua is actually pretty cute, but she's a shit goddess.

Kuzu no Honkai: Ecchan takes this hands down; I just feel bad that her crush is never going to amount to anything than meaningless sex.
Runner Up: Hanabi is a pretty relatable character honestly. Why can't she love Ecchan?

Little Witch Academia: Sucy cannot be beaten. Ever. I love that toxic little witch.
Runner Up: Diana is surprisingly a lot nicer than she seemed to be in the movies, which is good because I like her design a lot and I hope she gets a lot of character development.

Masamune-kun's Revenge: Aki is best girl, no matter what anyone says. She's just my type.
Runner Up: Yoshino is cute, but she doesn't deserve best girl. She knows what she's done.

Urara Meirochou: Chiya is impossibly cute. If this was based on cuteness alone, she'd be best girl of the season easily (well, maybe rivaled by Kanna).
Runner Up: There are other characters besides Chiya?

This is my ordered list of the shows I'm watching this season, with the best at number 1 and so forth.

1. Kuzu no Honkai
2. Maid Dragon
3. Konosuba S2
4. Little Witch Academia
5. Masamune-kun no Revenge
6. Gabriel Dropout
7. 3-gatsu no Lion
8. Shouwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu S2
9. Urara Meirochou
10. Demi-chan wa Kataritai
11. Fuuka
12. Koro-sensei Quest
13. Akiba's Trip
14. eIDLIVE

Little Witch Academia and 3-Gatsu dropped a bit due to slightly weak episodes lately, but I still enjoy both of them quite a bit. The others have been just stellar lately.

Not watching anything else, so I can't rank them. This list will probably change throughout the season.

Having watched the first episodes of everything I plan to watch this season, I thought I'd give some of my quick thoughts on each of them. I'm not including Assassination Classroom season 2 because it started last season, but if you really want my opinion on it, it's really good; you should watch it.

Boku no Hero Academia
I feel like this anime is going to follow the cliched setup where the protagonist is initially useless in a universe with powered people, but ends up being incredibly strong by the end of the season through arbitrary reasons. Still, it seems pretty funny and the main character isn't an unlikeable asshole, so I'll probably continue watching. The inspiration from comic books doesn't hurt either.

Bungou Stray Dogs
I like the concept of a detective agency composed of powered people, so I enjoyed the first episode quite a bit. I'd definitely prefer an overarching story rather than a "case of the week" story, so I hope that ends up happening.

Gakusen Toshi Asterisk
Honestly I'm just watching this because I've watched the first half. I don't even remember half of the plot points, but the first season wasn't the worst thing in the world so hopefully this doesn't suck.

Kiznaiver
The first episode left me wanting tons of answers, which is an excellent way to start things off. The characters and story premise seem pretty interesting, plus it's Trigger animating it. A possible contender for anime of the season IMO.

Mayoiga
I'm very intrigued by this anime. I'm curious to explore more of the mystery surrounding the village, especially if the anime takes a shift towards horror. Some characters seem more interesting than others, but I suppose that's the way shows with huge casts are. This one could be a really good anime if they don't mess up the ending.

Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu
I love basically everything about this anime so far. It started off similar to one of those cliched animes where a boy from our world ends up in a fantasy world and has a harem of beautiful girls, but it got dark really quick. I love the premise, the main character seems likeable, and so do several of the characters he ends up meeting. I think this is probably going to be one of my favorites.

Shounen Maid
Not a huge fan of this one so far. I love the idea of male characters dressing as women, but this one doesn't do it in a way I like. Could prove to be more interesting, so I'll watch a couple more episodes and see if it improves.

Sousei no Onmyouji
Not sure what to think of this one yet. I liked the visuals, but the story seems like it's going to be cliched. Some of the characters had interesting designs though. I'll have to give it a few more episodes before I decide whether or not I like it.

Uchuu Patrol Luluco
I never really liked short anime until I watched Oshiete! Galko-chan last season, which proved that short anime could be just as hilarious as longer form stuff. Luluco is absolutely hilarious, in the vein of something like Dead Leaves (but much less adult and a bit less random). The animation is pretty limited and the story doesn't seem like it'll be that deep, but it's really all about the comedy for me.
