Anime Relations: The iDOLM@STER, Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai, Muv-Luv Alternative: Total Eclipse, Sword Art Online, Accel World

Holy hell, it's been a while since I've posted an update on here. Over three years actually. Man, how the time flies. Anyway, since I've come back to have some fun on MAL, I figured I might as well update this little blog to let people know where I've been lately.

First off, I have since gotten married to my girlfriend that was mentioned in previous blog entries. Hooray! It's been a great ride so far and I know it's only going to get better. She's the one that pulled me back into the anime scene with recent shows, cosplay, and more. A wonderful woman, of that there is no doubt. Yeah, we have mixed opinions on some stuff and we get into it, but we're still an awesome couple and I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world.

Second, World of Warcraft. It DEVOURED me. To the point where it almost cost me my job and my new marriage. It was that bad. Since then, I went casual then completely quit. I've considered picking it back up as something to do in my free time, but I dunno. I got a lot of friends that went back, so we'll see. For now, I'm not sure.

Third, I fell out of the anime scene. Having been swamped with work and my new marriage, I just didn't have time for it. I would watch an episode of something here and there, but there just wasn't anything holding my interest. I think I went through some sort of mood-swing or something. I dunno. That brings me to my four point of interest...

It's good to be back. Oh how I've missed the world of big eyes and small mouths. There's been so much out lately that I've gotten into. Accel World, Sword Art Online, Idolm@ster, Muv-Luv, and more! The industry is really turning around in my eyes and I love it! No more typical shonen fluff in the likes of Naruto and Bleach. Finally some series that are catching my interest and keeping it! There seems to be more on the way too, and I'm excited about it.

All in all, I'm glad to have returned to anime. More anime, more manga, more figurines, more everything. Bring it on! My body is ready even if my wallet is not!

So it seems that sometime over the last couple of days, I was promoted to Club Officer status of The Strike Witches Fanclub. Apparently Ken-san promoted me and he forgot to tell me. I happened to catch it by chance but it's still cool. I'm grateful for the opportunity and, as my first officer action, I changed the club image. I hope that's okay. (^_^);

Here at the office we spent the entire day moving things around and organizing. I am now facing a wall, which is rather bland, but at least I have a nifty corkboard to stick stuff on and I got a chance to clean my desk which was litered with dusk and drink substance rings. Yes, believe it or not, even I get messy sometimes. (>_>)

Aside from these small events things have been pretty regular. I think I've finally got some ideas down for what I'm going to do for my two year anniversary coming up. Man, thinking up romantic crap is tough. I'm just glad I'm getting a grasp on the situation. Well, with only an hour left of work, I'll leave you to your own devices. Today I went a totally trashed my MySpace account. It's a bitter-sweet ordeal since I had a lot of good times on there and really enjoyed building the site. However, I haven't used it in almost a year now so away it goes. Within 48 hours it will be gone.

On a seperate note, my 2 year anniversary with my girlfriend is coming up so that should be fun. She wants to do something "romantic" but that's going to be tough since I don't have a romantic bone in my body. Not sure what I'm going to do, but I've only got a week to figure it out. *sigh*

Coming up on the 19th is Anime Weekend Atlanta. Unlike last year, however, I'm VERY limited on funds so it looks like I'll be skipping past the hentai booths and scrounging whatever I can in the form of artbooks, figurines, and merchandise. I hope they have some Sky Girls or Strike Witches items this year. That'd really be nice.

Aside from that, most things have been pretty regular. My Zune is constantly being filled with random anime that I can put on there. So far all of Sky Girls and Tsukuyomi Moonphase have made on there as well as the first 8 episodes of Strike Witches. I thought about added Kanokon but I'm not sure if it's worth porting around. We'll see though.

So last year I made a Top 100 Girls list on another anime site and it was received fairly well. This year, I decided to update the list but slim it down to a Top 50 since making a Top 100 gets a little tedious by about #60.

Different girls were placed in their respective places for different reasons. Some for cuteness, some for actual character, others for physical appearance and so forth. Don't read too much into it. lol
