My ranking for the top openings for the fall 2019 season of anime, of course, there somethings to keep in mind when looking at this list:

1. This is my opinion and my opinion on what I consider to be the best is not indicative of the whole community.

2. There are some openings on this list that belong to anime that I haven't necessarily watched yet but enjoyed the Opening enough and will probably watch at some point (so much anime, so little time to sit down and watch)

3. I grade the openings based on the song and a small portion of the grade goes into the animation as well.

1. Wild Side - ALI

Say what you want about the anime, but there is no denying that this song sticks with you and is probably the first time I have ever seen stop-motion animation used in an anime opening.

2. Q-vism - Who-ya Extended

I gotta say, as much as I liked the first two seasons of Psycho-Pass, I was never a huge fan of the first three openings, I didn't think they were necessarily bad, but they didn't stick with me too much. This is not the case with this season though, as it was everything that I had wanted to see in a Psycho-Pass opening.

3. Niijimu Sabiiro - MEMAI SIREN

While this might blur the line, as this opening is to a Japanese mixed-media project but seeing as how it is animated and the only episode was posted to youtube on October 9th, I'm counting it anyway. A great song with interesting visuals to boot, I hope to see more of this series (hopefully with English subs in the future).

4. Phantom Joke - Union Square Garden

I don't have much of an explanation for this one, I have a bit of a bias towards Union Square Garden and I like their songs. Considering that Cloverworks is the one animating the Babylonia anime, and as the expectations dictate unlimited budget works, they somewhat deliver.

5. Stay With Me - Seven Billion Dots

I'm gonna be honest, I haven't even watched the first season of Granblue Fantasy, but this opening caught my attention. Not much to say but that the first fifteen seconds of this song has me hooked. The animation is rather nice too which works to its benefit as well.

Anime Relations: BlazBlue: Alter Memory
This blog simply clarifies the reason(s) why I have anime I have completed anime that has a rating below a numerical score of 4:

- I simply like the feeling of completing an anime even if its terrible.
- Most times it is out of my morbid curiosity
- Other times these anime verges into the category of "so good it's bad" or "so bad that it's bad"
- Even though an anime has a low rating, I might have enjoyed it for the trainwreck that it was.

Besides, without horribly written and/or animated anime, we wouldn't be able to enjoy things like this:
