There are many memorable moments for me, but there three that I will never, ever, EVER forget in my lifetime.

3. The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya
It was back in May I had watched this anime. This moment just has to be the school festival performance with Haruhi and Yuki. I listened to God Knows and couldn't help but think that it's an excellent song, both structurally and musically. I've listened to a lot of good anime OP, ED, and insert songs, but this one is the best, though closely followed by Sora iro days. I had almost immediately learned to play it on guitar, and is it ever fun to play!

2. Gintama
This one is near the conclusion of the Tsukuyo arc. It's the final battle, and it's one of those moments when Gintoki suddenly becomes GARtoki. After saving Tsukki from death, and right before he faces off with Jiraia, he says to Tsukuyo while carrying her off to the side, "Don't bother telling me to run again. Trying to shoulder the burden all by yourself? Don't be such a stranger. Weep and ask for help. Lean on me with your runny nose. Cry when you feel like crying. laugh when you feel like laughing. When you're tearing up with an ugly face, I'll give you a good cry with an uglier face. When you're laughing so hard your stomach hurts, I'll laugh in a louder voice. That's how it should be. It's far better to get dirty while living true to yourself, than to throw away yourself and die a clean death." Those words couldn't be any more true and are certainly worth taking to heart. (Also, if you're wondering, I did memorize that quote.)

1. Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann Movie: Lagann Hen
Everything about this moment is just, perfect. It's the final battle, and I've just been visually and emotionally astounded by the appearance of Super Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, which I suppose is Gainex's tribute to Kamina, while also symbolizing the final Passing of the Torch from Kamina to Simon. Sora iro days is playing at just the right moment, and it stops briefly to go into the infinity display, then the solo kicks in and we're taken right back to the battle. After the drills clash and it comes down to Gurren Lagann, Simon yells at the top of his lungs, "Remember this! This drill will open a hole into space, and that hole will become a road for those that follow! The hopes of the fallen, and the hopes of those to come... Combining those feelings into a double helix, I'll dig a hole to the future! That's Tengen Toppa! That's Gurren Lagann! My drill is the drill that will pierce the heavens!" I felt that embodied the true spirit of Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann. It's also when I realized that this anime has something that nearly all anime lack, and that's spirit. The kind of spirit that would make the viewer want to cheer on characters in a reality they know doesn't exist, but they'll do it anyways!!!
