Anime Workers to Be Eligible for Employment Insurance

Labour Policy Council, part of the Ministry of Health, Labour, and Welfare in Japan, announced on 2020-12-08 that workers in the anime industry will be eligible for employment insurance and compensation in 2021.

Such a good news at the end of the year. The proposed change is long overdue, but it's better late than never.

Tenki no Ko
Anime Relations: Kimi no Na wa., Tenki no Ko

I went to see Tenki no Ko in theatre today.

The weather was sunny on my way to the theatre. It rained while I was in the theatre. Rain stopped as I walked out of the theatre.

A true story.

On Hiatus

Thank you for checking and referencing the Oscar Anime Awards in the last nine years.

Due to significant changes in personal life, both the Oscar Anime Awards and my blog here on MAL will be on hiatus. It is uncertain when I will be able to resume posting. I hope to be able to do so perhaps two years from now, though it is simply too early to tell at this point in time.

Thank you once again for your past visits. I hope I will have a chance to serve you and see you again sometime in the future.
