How I rate my anime:

11 - Legendary. The anime on the left side of this page (now somewhere else due to MAL's layout change) in my favorites (first 5 only). They made me feel every emotion; made me laugh, made me cry, made me go "wow". The pinnacle of what I enjoy in anime.
10 - My favorites. Enough said. Love em' and would recommend to all. Definitely rewatchable.
9 - My favorites, but... just lacked that certain something that stopped them from being a 10. Or had an event that really annoyed me that I had to lower it. Might be rewatchable.

8 - Great anime. Above average. I definitely liked it; or I might have not liked it that much but it was amazing regardless from a critical point of view, which led me to giving it no lower than an 8.

7 - Slightly above average. Not much said here. I watched it, it was a nice way to spend time. Didn't truly like it, didn't truly hate it. It's not that good, it's not that bad. Not rewatchable though.
6 - The number from which I start to "dislike" anime and start to drop them. This is average and I wouldn't recommend this to those with similar tastes to mine. Might worth a finish just for sake of finishing or for a likable character or two. Alternatively something which turned out disappointing, after starting promising.

5 - Below average, most likely dropped. This and below is what I would call "bad anime". Alternatively something which turned out very disappointing.
4 - Shit. It's very bad, and I regret spending time watching even a few minutes of it. This gives an anime an overall poor image.

3 - Danger zone. This shouldn't be approached. Cannot "finish" an anime with this score or lower - always dropped.
2 - Anime shouldn't even go this low, if it does... just know that it will suck shit no matter what your taste might be.
1 - Pure cancer.
