1. Join a fandom. Got a lot of interest in ONE anime but kinda feel nothing about others? Just join the fandom and do fandom stuff for a year or two. Come back or sparingly watch other stuff but only if you want to. Turn to cosplay, art, music, and language and talking to other fans.

2. Watch older anime. Maybe, the artstyle you loved is just gone. Maybe the answer isn't more new anime, but anime that are simply new to you. Watch everything by a favorite director.

3. Read manga. Fuck anime. Manga was better anyway.

4. Do a different hobby all together. Maybe anime just isn't where you need to be right now. Focus on your job, school, and maybe joining a different social community. B-movies, scifi, foreign film, these are good other media to join with people to talk to.

5. Watch something you normally wouldn't. Don't be afraid to drop a lot of anime.

6. Watch shorts, movies, and OVA.

7. Watch historically important anime.
