Well, it looks like what started as a simple April Fools Day stunt by Adult Swim has evolved and grown into the revival of the best thing to ever happen to television. Toonami is coming back the same way it went out: with a bang.

What programs will it bring us? What new and exciting events and such will we experience? Who knows? Only two things concern me right now. A) Whether or not my dad will surrender the TV at 9:00 and B) the choice of programs they decide to air (will they just air the old shows that were aired back when Toonami was in its prime, or will they air some newer shows that could use some exposure on Toonami?). Regardless, May 26 just happens to be the day after the last day of school for me. I think I'm getting a good start for this summer.

So, I just got back from seeing The Avengers movie.

Best. Movie. Ever.

Seriously, this movie was worth the wait. I don't even think I can name a single negative about this movie. I'm not going to spoil anything about it, because then I'd just ruin it for everybody.

One thing I liked was that, for once, the Hulk is NOT voiced by Fred Tatascoire (nothing against the guy, since he usually does a good job as the Hulk, but I find him to be a little overused) and instead voiced by the one and only Lou Ferrigno (who some of you may recognize as the guy who played the Hulk in that The Incredible Hulk 80's TV show).

Also, there were plenty of funny lines and moments. Half the time, I found myself laughing my ass off at some witty line said by Tony Stark or any other character.

Overall, The Avengers was over 2 hours long. And I must say, those were 2 hours definitely worth spending.

...... actually, scratch what I said about spoilers. There is one thing I'll tell you about.

The legendary Stan Lee makes the obligatory cameo. 'Nuff said.

Here's something important for people fighting to bring back Toonami on Twitter. Steven Blum just uploaded a video giving us some instructions on which hashtags to tweet and when to tweet them.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=03pCJnUXyQs&feature=plcp

Here's the instructions in a nutshell.

Weekdays (Monday through Friday): #Toonami
Weekends (Saturday and Sunday): #BringBackToonami

I don't know about you guys, but the window of opportunity hasn't been opened this wide before. Let's show Cartoon Network and Adult Swim that Toonami is worth bringing back!
