[SPOILER ALERT]
Welcome to my Afterthoughts blog on Hyperdimension Neptunia: The Animation. I prefer to write blogs on Anime after having watched and reviewed the series and pen down what I thought of it and where it could have went. You are hereby warned again that reading any further will cause spoiling of the series.

This might have come a little late considering that the Anime series ended a long time ago. However, a review is a review. So here are my Afterthoughts.

So, to start off, I had a lot of fears for an all-girls Anime series that features a lot of fan service as many would expect. One of them would be, that's right, the overuse of boobs. Fortunately, there wasn't all that much, with only one of the Goddesses, Vert, openly flaunting her assets. Two, if you count her counterpart from the other dimension. The number could even go up to three if you count Peashy's transformed version. But then again, that was kind of a forced transformation, so I didn't count her.

Moving on, another fear I had would be the improper balance of story pacing as I have mentioned in the review. For an Anime series with an OVA, one would inevitably worry about how it is going to play out. As it turns out, I was right. Sure Magiquone was defeated in a glorious fashion, which is acceptable I guess, but then the pacing after that just doesn't fit in. Enemies either go down too quickly or take too long to go down that they had to be over and done with in future moments. What I'm trying to say here is that it all feels too rushed. It doesn't have the natural story pacing an Anime should have. I did appreciate that they kept Magiquone up till the last moment where she even made an appearance as well.

Whew! So I've been wanting to make my very own "About Me" design for some time now but haven't been able to due to real life commitments a.k.a studies. Now that I've finally managed to free up some time, I got to work on it.

So to start off, I needed some sort of base. The kind where it would help me have an easier time in designing. I thought of basing it off of an Anime at first. Since my all-time favorite Anime is Love Live!, why not base it off of that?

Now before I continue I would like to state that I have had some experience in designing due to my studies in real life. It's just that I have never used BBCode before so it's kind of confusing to me. Thankfully there is a tutorial to base off on.

So without further ado, here's my Love Live!-themed design:

As you can see, I like to make use of simple colors and designing techniques. I got the background image off of Google and designed the buttons myself. I know that this is not a perfect one and will look to improve on it in the future. Any form of comments will be greatly appreciated!

Welcome to my Afterthoughts blog on Alnoah.Zero 2nd Season. I prefer to write blogs on Anime after having watched and reviewed the series and pen down what I thought of it and where it could have went. You are hereby warned again that reading any further will cause the spoiling of the series.

Although the title says its about the second season, it's actually more of the Anime series as a whole. I don't really mind if the discussion is about the first season as well.

So, to start off, the main characters in this case would be Kaizuka Inaho, the protangonist, and Slaine Troyard, the antagonist. In all honesty, given how the sotry developed from the start, I actually believed that Slaine could have gone down the right path and that the two could have worked together. But then again, if it did happen there wouldn't be much of a story, right?

Anyhow, I also wanted to discuss what you guys think of the development of the Anime. It can be about the characters or just the story as well. Here's what I think. I feel that it can be done better in that Martians are fighting to take over Earth and its natural resources and that Earth's inhabitant, Terrans, are fighting to defend against that. But when it comes down to it, it's all about the 1v1 between Slaine and Inaho. What I'm trying to say here is even if you don't understand where the Anime is going, all you have to do is vote for either Slaine or Inaho and you'll be fine. (What am I saying, the antagonist never had a chance.) That in itself is already a loophole.

Another thing I wanted to mention is the Terrans over-relying on Inaho to save the day. Sure, they may have had their part in fighting in the war, but they ultimately still depended on Inaho and his new Analytic Engine eyeball to do some miraculous calculation to get them out of nasty scrapes. What do you guys think of this reliance?

Thus, I have come to end of my Afterthoughts on Aldnoah.Zero 2nd Season. If you stayed with me all the way, thank you! If you didn't, that's fine as well. Once again, thank you for your time in reading this blog post and bye!

Welcome to my Afterthoughts blog on the series Love Live! School Idol Project. I prefer to write blogs on Anime after having watched and reviewed the series and pen down what I thought of it and where it could have went. You are hereby warned

So, to start off, I had a lot of question marks for the Anime series when I read the synopsis. Since there are 9 main characters, which direction is the Anime going to go? Is there any particular character in which the series will arc towards? Since the idol unit is formed to save the school, what will happen to it after the school is saved? What will happen to the unit after the student graduate? With all these questions in mind, I started watching the series.

The Anime started off with the to-be leader of the group, Kousaka Honoka, reading a notice off the bulletin board alongside her two childhood friends, Sonoda Umi and Minami Kotori. Her first reaction was quite comical in that she's actually worried about not being able to complete her course of studies before the closure of the school and heaved a sigh of relief after knowing that the school will only close down after its currently enrolled students have graduated. She later learnt that her younger sister was planning on enrolling into another school and was rather surprised since apparently her family line including her mother, have all enrolled at Otonokizaka High in their time. Some time later, she watched a currently popular school idol unit, ARISE, perform on television and the idea of forming one to save the school popped into her mind. This, to me, has a pretty average base for story development as the plan going forward becomes very linear, its clear as to what they were about to do so there's no room for surprises since we'd expect the gathering of members and the formation of the group from there.

It's precisely the development later on, however, that surprises me. This is because there are several parts that one would generally expect that did not happen. If you guys read my review, you'd notice that I put an extra strong emphasis on the individual character development part of the series. This includes the naming of the group as μ's by one of their third-year members, Toujou Nozomi. Normally you'd expect the naming to be done by the leader of the group, which is Honoka. There's your individual character development right there.
This is not a storytelling post, so I won't go too much into how each character was developed, but you get the idea.

Pacing for the series was very well done. Each main character had their own spotlight and time to develop. The best part is that throughout each of the spotlight, the main aim of saving the school from closing down was not deviated away from. The members of μ's even gained the support of the entire school as seen in the Anime.

Thus, I have come to end of my Afterthoughts on Love Live! School Idol Project. If you stayed with me all the way, thank you! If you didn't, that's fine as well. Once again, thank you for your time in reading this blog post and bye!

[SPOILER ALERT]

Welcome to my Afterthoughts blog on Seiken Tsukai no World Break. I prefer to write blogs on Anime after having watched and reviewed the series and pen down what I thought of it and where it could have went. You are hereby warned again that reading any further will cause spoiling of the series.

Incidentally, this happens to be my first blog on this website; I have done blogging not specifically related to Anime prior to this and I hope to get some comments and criticism so as to improve.

So, to start off, I actually didn't have that much of a good impression of the Anime series as a whole. Haimura Moroha, the MC, started off as a powerless guy at the start of the Anime where the principal mentioned that all of them Saviors have memories of their past lives and that remembering them is what will help them grow stronger.

Because of his double past, Moroha quickly becomes a powerful character who is able to pull of high-level moves that supposedly only high-ranking Saviors can do. You guys can see where this is going. The power curve is too steep. Right from the get-go, he instantly becomes almost unstoppable.

A somewhat proper pacing suggestion would be for Moroha to remember his past lives more slowly, scene by scene, which makes for more story anyway. This way, the audience gets to see Moroha increase in power gradually instead of almost at once and the Anime as a whole becomes more meaningful to watch. Sure, it's understandable that due to episode limitations/budget, it may be impossible to account for such exquisite and detailed character development, but I feel that it can be done a lot better.

Another thing I want to mention before I end this blog post is the overuse of boobs in Anime. I kind of feel like this topic has been brought up a lot of times and it's getting really boring, but it doesn't change the fact that they've been overused a bit too much. Take Seiken Tsukai no World Break for example. The two students closest to Moroha would be Satsuki and Urushibara. Satsuki is flat-chested while Urushibara has big boobs. Now don't get me wrong - this is understandable in that the two characters that are going to be by the MC's side most of the time should have a feature to distinguish between themselves. This in itself is good. However, look beyond and you will notice that most of the other characters that have little to no interaction with the MC have big boobs as well, save for a select few. What's the point of that? Some of them hardly get screen time as well. It's kind of a futile effort if you ask me.

Thus, I have come to the end of my Afterthoughts on Seiken Tsukai no World Break. If you stayed with me all the way, thank you! If you didn't, that's fine as well. Once again, thank you for your time in reading this blog post and bye!
