25) Probably the Attack on Titan OP's, lol. I personally don't find them listenable if you're in the mood for a bopper, but factually/analytically/instrumentally, the composers went all-out with each and every theme song. Not much music in the anime industry gets more intense with this. I'm not going to link all of the videos here... you can pretty much just look any up on YouTube. Yeah... I'll admit, these are S-tier, Chad songs in every sense of the word... but I'm not gonna be happy adding them to my list!

# Keep Your Hands Off Eizouken!
Easy Breezy - chelmico

# How heavy are the dumbbells you lift?
Onegai Muscle (お願いマッスル)

# One Piece
Brand New World - D-51

# One Piece
Kaze o Sagashite - Yaguchi Mari

*Note*, I haven't seen any of these animes. Most suggestions I've gotten are from animes I haven't seen. But after spending hours listening to dozens and dozens, these ones stood out, nearly compelling me to watch the actual anime. The following are DAMN good recommendations:

# Kiznaivar
Lay Your Hands on Me - Boom Boom Satellites

# Tokyo Ghoul
unravel - TK from Ling Tosite Sigure

# Macross Delta
Rune ga Pikatto Hikattara (ルンがピカッと光ったら)

# Assassin's Pride
Share the light - Run Girls, Run!

# Kokkoku
Flashback - MIYAVI vs. KenKen

haha i think i was trending more to your described CATCHIEST than greatest. i used to hum along to the opening, it's so refreshing.

in terms of I C O N I C openings i'd have to go with;

eva -

Kaiba -

Wolf's rain -

trigun -

beck -

highschool of the dead (lol don't hate, this opening is banging - deserved a better anime!) -

i think back to my days when i just left school and was really starting to get into anime, the opening for angel beats will always be iconic for me despite the story falling well short in esteem the further i've explored anime;

there are a lot of shonen with amazing openings too, FMA, hajime no ippo, kuroko no basket, naruto and bleach come to mind. bleach especially if nostalgic as fuck, i remember watching a bleach boxset with my french doors open in the summer with my legs hanging out of the back of the house watching the tv whilst eating ice cream. sounds weird but it felt goooood.

i'm also fond of the ARIA/mushishi openings if i'm feeling mellow af.

as far as endings...

ping pong (my GOAT anime) -

hajime no ippo (all of the endings tbh, they're used as inserts in the show) -

bakemono -

naurto (truly iconic imo, so damn good) -

tbh endings aren't as memorable as openings tho for me! you'll probably find the more you watch the more shit the original ones you liked are, and it will strengthen how much you appreciate some of the OG ones

Thanks for commenting on my blog, lol. It was actually just supposed to be a space to organize and format what will eventually be a forum post, so I was surprised to see a blog reply. Especially from an OG user like yourself. As for your recommendation, Baccano! is one of the highest-rated MAL listings, so I don't know why I haven't touched it yet. Maybe the historical setting intimidates me. But lol as for the OP itself, I think I burst out laughing when I realized you were recommending me a solely-instrumental OP in a place for the "greatest OP's". And I'm not discriminating -- if you truly consider that to be amongst the best, then I'm intrigued by the unexpected choice. THEN again, Cowboy Bebop's OP is placed on a pedestal and it's pretty much an instrumental too. Same genre as well. Baccano! 's theme -- VERY snazzy. Sexy sax. And GREAT visuals/character-introduction as well. I was amused. Thanks for the suggestions. Again, it's these unexpected suggestions (as opposed to the Chad ones, i.e. The Pokemon theme) that make this a fun discussion.
