My thoughts: This was one of the few TV anime I watched in English fully, and before I made my MAL account. I remember enjoying this anime back when I was a teenager, I guess because I liked plenty of the characters, and how the premise was decently executed. At least, that's what I remember, anyway. The one thing that makes me sad, though, is this never continued after it was over. I wished it had a second season, especially since the rest of the zodiac members were never introduced in the anime (Horse and Rooster, anyone?). Buuuut simultaneously, I'm somewhat happy they didn't continue; here's my reason why. Does anyone remember that in the manga, it was revealed that Akito was actually a female? Now this was revealed long after the anime ended, but can you imagine if the show did continue? Yeeeaah, that would've been awkward as shit. Granted, they probably would've disregarded that, still remaining Akito as a male, but just thinking him with his manly voice while him being female in the manga kind of makes me find it amusing in a weird way.

My thoughts: The animation is breathtakingly beautiful, the characters are well written, the story's amazing, and I love the world building in this film. I especially love the relationship between Chihiro and Haku. What more can I say about this film? Oh wait, the song that plays in the end credits. Just...that heavenly song...it is so soothing, it almost sounds like a lullaby.

My thoughts: The perfect way for me to describe this is dull and annoying. The anime is essentially episodic, following our protagonist Kotarou, who randomly meets an angel named Misha, and they get into some crazy shit with Kotarou's friends. That's pretty much it. If you couldn't guess by the first sentence of this "my thoughts" section, I didn't like it. All the characters are either boring or obnoxious (Although I'd prefer the former over the latter, because at least they're bearable to my ears), and I felt no chemistry between Kotarou and Misha. I swear, there's rarely an episode where characters don't say lines such as "What're you doing, Misha?!" or "Misha, please stop it" simply for the fact that Misha is so clingy towards Kotarou or does dumb things, much to his dismay. There's a character named Mitirai, and oh my god, he is so irritating to listen to, that almost every time he's on screen, I'd skim through the episode just so I didn't have to listen to his grating shouts (By the way, nearly all his dialogue is either him bragging about how he's somehow better than Ayanokouji or his undying love for Misha). Same goes for his stupid ass sister. Also, I find it funny how Kotarou's friends (And random citizens...I'll get to that in a sec) are initially weirded out by Misha being an angel, yet nobody ever comments on Koboshi having motherfucking cat ears. There was one episode where Kotarou's cousin got lost after running away from the group, and Misha insisted on using her wings to find her. Understandably, Kotarou didn't want her doing that, but Misha did it anyway, thus attracting the attention of everyone at the fair they were at. But after that episode, her attracting that much attention is never brought up again. What? You're telling me everybody disregarded this, or that there weren't even news on this? And that ending...ugh. I found the ending to be both an ass pull and a cop out. Basically, in the last two episodes, Misha made an attempt to bring Shia back after the latter disappeared. Because of that, she was the one who was gonna vanish, therefore rendering most of the characters to lose their memories of their time with her, the same happening when Shia disappeared (Yeah, it's kinda like those bullshit "none of it ever happened" bits). But by the end, both Shia and Misha return. *Sighs* What more do I need to say about this show?

My thoughts: The first half, though nothing spectacular, did manage to keep me interested. The story went downhill, however, almost as soon as Karim was introduced. Why? Well, not long after her introduction, the main character, Thor, and Karim end up falling into a pit of...green water twigs (I ain't got a clue what they're called; that's the best way I can describe it). Throughout the episode, Thor's trying to find a way out while Karim keeps asking him questions in an aggressive way. Then all of a sudden, Thor apparently has feelings for her and even kisses her...never mind the fact that they just met and he's known Tiz for over three years, even knowing Tiz loves him (Albeit there's no chemistry between them either, which I'll go into more detail in a bit). Oh, and the only reason his fight with Zagi to becoming a Beast King happened was because he claimed Zagi killed her. Out of all the reasons for this fight to happen, they decided to go with the murder of someone, again, Thor just met. I'm sorry, but that was freaking stupid. There were other ways for leading him into fighting Zagi. Now, about Thor and Tiz. Throughout the anime, Tiz repeatedly insists Thor or someone else that he'll be her husband, despite his disinterest. In context, I kinda get it, but there's plenty of other men on Chimaera; you telling me she's not interested in any of the other ones? Well, unless the rest are ruthless pricks, as we've kind of seen in the show. Still, I found her constant husband bullshit to be really annoying. The ending left me having a few questions. What happened to Zagi? How exactly did Thor's skin and hair change color? By the way, this is kinda minor, but the clothing he wears on the cover? Yeah, he doesn't wear that once in the anime.

My thoughts: I'm sorry, this is supposed to be a romance? What the hell is so romantic about a person constantly being sexually harassed and treated like shit by their so-called "love interest"? Throughout this anime, I wanted to strangle Kai and throw him off the school roof. Y'know, I'm actually very happy this was only two episodes. If the whole manga was covered, I would've grabbed my computer, and slam it on the ground in pure anger (Okay, I wouldn't actually do that, but you get what I mean).

My thoughts: This honestly is a huge mixed bag for me. Probably the best thing about this was how Mugi's shyness was handled throughout the anime, and I think this was great conflict in terms of her lack of confidence and how she claims she couldn't do certain things—such as act out lines for the play they did—but manages to pull through in the end. So why do I say this anime as a whole is a mixed bag? Because at the beginning of it, Mugi gets essentially forced into the Drama Research Society by the other main characters. I don't mind characters giving others a push or encouraging them to do something out of their comfort zone, but there's a difference between that and making it appear like they have absolutely no choice but to do what others want you to do. I feel like Nono's anger towards Mugi around the middle point of the anime would've made more sense if Mugi joined the club by choice. Here, Nono also pretty much forced her. So she had no right telling her, "Then you should quit" when she "encouraged" her in joining to begin with. One other moment which irked me was in the second or third episode, Mugi accidentally fell while it was raining and she met a girl named Chitose, who offered to give her a clean pair of clothes until her uniform was dry. A little bit later, she found out she was in the Drama club, causing some other characters to believe she was joining that one. I understand Mugi not being able to explain it, but why didn't Chitose clear up this misunderstanding by stating she was only in there to change her clothes? She's the most outgoing character in the anime, so she had no reason not to tell them. The animation here isn't very good, and the colors appear very saturated, which can get distracting if you're not used to it (I managed to get used to it, but I'm still not a fan of the artwork). One last thing I wanna mention is a few of the voice actors sound way too old to be playing high schoolers (The one standing out the most is Risaki, who sounds like an old lady as opposed to a young girl). After finishing the anime, I realized that if I watched this as a teenager, I probably would've loved it, but if it wasn't for Mugi getting forced into the club, I would've liked this more than I do now.

My thoughts: The seventh episode is what caused me to like this a little less, and it's also what cemented my hatred for Aono, because she does the most despicable thing in the entire anime. So near the end of the seventh episode, Yorito insisted on seeing Matsuri after the latter agreed to not see him ever again. Of course, Aono only tells him not to instead of explaining the reason, because that'll so work if you don't explain it to him, am I right? Anyway, Yoriro manages to see Matsuri again, and what Aono did there was control his mind, and then stabbed Matsuri with a piece of glass. What's worse is she doesn't appear to have any regret for it! And we're suppose to sympathize with her?! Yeah, I don't fucking think so.

My thoughts: The story's pretty good, and characters are okay, although I found Nona uninteresting. She's not awful, per se, but I just didn't care for her, nor her servant, Arthur. Also, there were two things which I didn't quite understand. Mind you, these are pretty minor, but they bugged me so much, that I felt like discussing it. The first thing was in the third episode, when Sumomo is feeling down, Tsuwabuki suddenly mentions Yuki-chan (Who's the tiny sheep he transforms into) trying to cheer her up. Besides Sumomo and Kisaragi, the only people who saw Yuki-chan were Nadeshiko and Nona, so in Sumomo's perspective, there's no way Tsuwabuki would've known who Yuki-chan was, yet she never questions this. The second one is halfway through, there's a flashback of when Sumomo got lost in the school opening ceremony, leading Tsuwabuki to help her. He realizes - in his sheep form - "That was her?" Okay, how did he not recognize her from that day? She had the exact same appearance then, so I find it hard to believe he wasn't cognizant about that. You could make the argument that because he's not social, he didn't pay much attention to what she looked like. However, I'm pretty sure asocial people would at least spare a glance at others.

It's supposed to come off as funny, but I only snickered twice; even then, it was because of how stupid it got. The closest to a "plot" is a dude and old lady trying to get the sisters' most prized possession called the booby stone (Yes, that's the name for it), but how they presented it was still mind-bogglingly dumb.
