So today some of my list style users noticed that their covers were all gone, this was caused by the original "https://mal-image.appspot.com" that I used to generate the covers over shot its Quota causing a 503 error.

This is probably because it got more popular and caused too much bandwidth to handle it, so with some search on the forums and custom list clubs, I stumbled upon malcat-gen which is a more than suitable alternative to generate the covers for the design I made relying on these kind of generators.

This change has now been updated on the Github ReadMe which can be found here: https://github.com/RafaelDeJongh/MyAnimeList/blob/gh-pages/README.md

On the section where you use the code to import all the styles you can now see the change from mal-image.appspot.com to malcat-gen.appspot.com making it so you will have to change a little bit of code to make everything work again!

For example you will have to use the following code for your anime list:
https://malcat-gen.appspot.com/series?preset=more&user=RafaelDeJongh&list=anime

And for your manga:

https://malcat-gen.appspot.com/series?preset=more&user=RafaelDeJongh&list=manga

Of course the user=RafaelDeJongh has to be changed to your own username else you might get missing list items!

While this might be a temporary problem of a bandwidth quote 503 problem, I do still want to support my list style and therefore choice for a direct approach and used this generator which works as of today (11/03/2018) fine and well.

As it is also less code in general and a bit more readable than the previous code, I might not even bother switching back to the old version and stick with MalCat!
