Favorite Characters - Quick Update
Anime Relations:
Genshiken, Great Teacher Onizuka, Shakugan no Shana, Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu, Black Lagoon, Higurashi no Naku Koro ni, Genshiken OVA, Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei, Toradora!, Toaru Majutsu no Index, Bakemonogatari, Kimi ni Todoke, Katanagatari
Okay, so just like my last "Quick Update" for my favorite anime series, the AoD forums have now spawned a quick update for my favorite characters. First, AoD now has a Favorite Female Anime Character thread. Now since seven of my top ten characters on my profile are girls, this isn't much for new info. But nonetheless, here are my current top 10 favorite female characters:
1. Aisaka Taiga (Toradora!)
2. Sonozaki Mion (Higurashi no Naku Koro ni)
3. Nagato Yuki (The Melanchololy of Haruhi Suzumiya)
4. Senjougahara Hitagi (Bakemonogatari)
5. Shana (Shakugan no Shana)
6. Suzumiya Haruhi (The Melanchololy of Haruhi Suzumiya)
7. Misaka Mikoto (Toaru Majutsu no Index)
8. Kanzaki Urumi (Great Teacher Onizuka)
9. Ogiue Chika (Genshiken OVA)
10. Kuronuma Sawako (Kimi ni Todoke)
Got a little shaken up from my 2009 List, but not too much. Now AoD also has a Favorite Male Anime Character thread. I've been wanting to do a favorite guy list for a while, but haven't really had the time. The favorite character list on my profile only has 3 guys on it so having this top 10 is a little more relevant:
1. Kyon (The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya)
2. Yasuri Shichika (Katanagatari)
3. Itoshiki Nozomu (Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei)
4. Takasu Ryuuji (Toradora!)
5. Araragi Koyomi (Bakemonogatari)
6. Onizuka Eikichi (Great Teacher Onizuka)
7. Okajima "Rock" Rokuro (Black Lagoon)
8. Maebara Keiichi (Higurashi no Naku Koro ni)
9. Madarame Harunobu (Genshiken)
10. Kamijou Touma (Toaru no Majutsu no Index)
That was a bit harder to make than the girl list because I don't really have that many guy characters I really like. I had about five more characters in the running for my list when I was coming up with people. I'd probably have to scrape pretty deep to make a full top 25 list.
Anyway, that's about it with me right now. Not much else going on. Just trying to catch up on this anime season and get ready to move. Dez and I actually watched 7 episodes of anime last night! Pretty awesome. Tomorrow I have the day off from work so I'll try to finish packing most of my stuff. ^_^
