Welcome back. Last time we did a devil girl with a nice ass. Now we’re doing a magical girl with a flat chest.

Hair
Aika has long black hair. For pandering to the awful male lead she also has twintails, cute ones with ribbons though. While this is a good base she has two problems. First and foremost are the standard generic bangs with the big middle bang, though her long sidebangs are great. The second is when transformed she gets dark blue hair, and while it’s not a bad color it’s worse than black. These are not too terrible issues though, hence the good score.

Eyes
Aika has red eyes. The shape is tsurime and thus great. You’d think that with this she would get a top score easily, but nope because she has blue eyes when transformed. You know how that goes and thus will not repeat things, just score not as well and move on with life. That said she’s wearing red slightly thick reddish glasses in one official image and that does help.

Aika has measurements. With 157cm and 46kg this starts well, and her three sizes are 72/56/80 which sound good but are bad. You would think her hip size being much bigger than her chest would get praise but NOPE because this is only to emphasize how flat she is and thus how much she sucks because being flat is like being Satan only worse. And if this was just her poor measurements then that would end okay, but the series adds lots of size mockery from Thouars and screw this character. Even worse is that Aika herself has quite the size complex and in a terrible scene wants the big udders attribute for some reason. Like what the hell, the guy you like isn’t even into oversized tumors, why the hell you want that. Mamocentrism defies common sense and yet again liking breasts has been proved the same as having a mental illness. Thankfully all these issues don’t stop Aika from looking magnificent, but the score can’t be perfect sadly

Aika has a nice ass. Because flat girl she also gets her behind show often. Kinda wish she would get the gigantic ass attribute though.

Aika has decent clothing. She mostly defaults to the school uniform, not bad with its blazer and bowtie, and the TailBlue clothes that look sexy. Official art adds slightly more and that includes lovely sukumizu for more awesome. Definitely a good factor.

Personality
Aika is really cool. She is main guy Souji’s childhood friend and neighbor and has been with him many years. She also learned martial arts from her grandpa and works hard to protect loved ones with such skills, since she’s incredibly strong. She also has a cow older sister who her irrational dislike of being flat comes from. Anyway once Souji became TailRed and fought evil she ended helping too and became TailBlue since now Thouars could not, screw this character. There she saved the day over and over and was the best, but was hated by public media because mocking childhood friends somehow became Japan’s national sport at some point. Boo poor taste.
Now for personality. Aika is a very devoted girl. This may be more of a libido thing but it’s basically her main personality trait. She’s also a noble kind girl that supports justice and fights against the wicked albeit mainly to keep Souji safe and sound. When transformed into TailBlue originally she was meant to get speed focus but instead she went with power focus to obliterate the enemies far harder instead. She also has water attacks for I sure keep doing water girls lately. Overall despite the rest of the cast deserving to die in a fire poor Aika was amazing and incredible and easily way superior compared with her moronic unlikable peers. Kinda wish she wasn’t in the third worst anime ever made.

Reception
Aika is complicated here. Sure she’s apparently the most popular character in Japan and seems beloved in other places too despite having vocal haters. The problem is the treatment inside the series since for some reason she’s treated like a giant joke. She has the purest love and is the strongest fighter, yet everyone mocks and derides her and she’s constantly seen as ugly and unappealing while the sick genderswapped lead is stupidly popular. Now where the female version of the lead a fat cow I could pin this on mamocentrism since the show has loads of that crap, but “she” has small breasts and looks even younger than Aika thus feels like Aika gets hated JUST for being Aika the childhood friend, and that is honestly insulting. Aika is literally the one good thing from this nauseating lame horrible drivel and you somehow make HER the joke character. Worst choice ever or close enough.

Aika has official data for once. She is 15 years old and in the first year of high school. She’s also the same age as her love interest. Finally her birthday is the 8th of August and that’s pretty cool.

Yuuka Aisaka sounds fairly cute. She needs more roles though. Also feels kinda lame this awful show is overloaded with awesome VAs like Yukarin and Canna and Hiyama and many others yet for the main heroine they pick a minor girl. Casting trolling maybe.
