Anime Relations: Deadman Wonderland, Mirai Nikki, Selector Infected WIXOSS, Charlotte, Tales of Zestiria the Cross, Bungou Stray Dogs
ANIME: Characters 30% > Sound 25% >Enjoyment 20% > Story 15% > Art 10%
MANGA: Characters 30% > Enjoyment 25% > Art 25% > Story 20%

The worst sins a series can commit (this is PERSONAL OPINION for god's sake; no way this is meant to be universal):

- Having stereotypical characters
Notable sinners: Children's anime most of the time; 80% of WSJ's content, like Black Clover and Red Sprite; Sukedachi 09, Tales of Zestiria The X, Sword Art Online, Vampire Knight

- Being boring, having a sluggish storytelling
Notable sinners: Argento Soma, Suisei no Gargantia, Robotics;Notes, Gankutsuou, Fune wo Amu, Nanika Mochigattemasu ka

- Focusing too much on the form (visuals and music, fights, etc) and forgetting about the content (story, storytelling methods and characters)
Notable sinners: Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei, Sword Art Online, Flag, Kiznaiver, God Eater

- Insertting a massive amount of characters without a proper reason and expecting you to care about them, making the story at the same time inflated and hollow
Notable sinners: Bleach, World Trigger, Terraformars, Norn9

- Forcing emotions on the public and relying too much on shock factor and "touching/edgy scenes"
Notable sinners: EVERY WORK of Jun Maeda, Esuno Sakae and Gen Urobuchi (I hate them so much), some of Makoto Shinkai's works (I said SOME), like: Mirai Nikki, Charlotte, Hoshi no Koe, Madoka Magica; also: the whole WIXOSS series, Code Geass

- Having naïve and childish storytelling, relying on old clichés from fairytales, using black and white morality, relaying too much on the viewer's suspension of disbelief as an excuse to tell the story in an immature way
Notable sinners: Most of children's anime, which I really don't like; Moonlight Mile, Ace Attorneys, the first 3 parts of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, Bungou Stray Dogs, Young Black Jack, Ansatsu Kyoushitsu, Deadman Wonderland, Bakuman, ST&RS

- Being repetitive, running out of ideas too early, being predictable due to bad plot/power levels/character construction
Notable sinners: Most sport anime (I'm no fan of the genre) e.g. Captain Tsubasa; One Punch Man, Sakamoto Desu ga?, Saint Seiya, any Dragon Ball event past the Cell saga, Handa-kun

Tags on my list

Fanservice shit = doesn't have a real plot, just a bunch of tits/deres/incest/moe/wtv shit, or it's a kind of nostalgia/good visuals bait lacking any other kind of appeal or quality.

Overrated = this is not as good as people tell you (doesn't actually mean it's bad)

Wasted potential = a good premise/project but they messed it up somehow

Funny trainwreck = this is so bad it's actually fun to watch it crashing and burning

Hidden gem = a very good anime but unfortunately only a few people talk about/know about it

So close = they got SO CLOSE of making a better anime series but somehow ran out of gas (doesn't mean it's BAD or deeply FLAWED, just that it could be turning into something better)

Amazing characters = amazing character development, unforgettable characters, deep and relatable personalities and personal relashionships

Read the manga = YOU BETTER DO IT. The anime can't stand for itself or just don't make justice to the original source.

Cliche train = doesn't bring anything new to the genre; repetition of clichés so bad IT HURTS.

Nostalgia factor = the high score has more to do with personal feelings of nostalgia and carefree enjoyment than with real quality - what doesn't actually mean the anime is bad!

zzzzzz = boring or sluggish as hell. Probably bad pacing.
