if 2.0 was a tad boring, this is extremely boring. kaworu and shinji's dynamic made this watchable, and the last quarter of the film was cool, but so much of it seemed to drag and go too slowly for my liking, not to mention i couldn't really bring myself to care about any characters besides shinji and kaworu

neat, i suppose. i liked the characters in this, but overall it's not exactly the most amazing thing to ever come out of anime. nice if you just want something less serious to watch? the characters were nice, at least (nitori was really great) though sometimes the dynamics between certain characters (like rin and haru) were grating and made this hard to watch

Samurai Flamenco
Had this rated an 8, rewatching series with brother currently and have to say this is much better upon rewatch (and with a victim forced to watch with you.) A true masterpiece. 10/10 would watch again. And again and again and again...
